Has anybody experienced a really long transit of mars through their 8th house? Apparently, I'm going to be having one from around now until MAY!!!!!! I can imagine what that could mean, but I was curious as to what kind of experiences people had with it. Anyway, just thought it might be an interesting topic......

I'm having a really long mars transit in the 1st house, it was great when it conjunct my asc- I drew people to me like flies!
It'll end up passing out of my 1st eventually though and conjunct my natal mars at 22deg cancer in the 2nd.
As for 8th H transit I have no idea, cafeastrology.com is the place to go for that info, they even have transits for the mars retro.

It's going to be in my 8th house too. I don't know what I should expect.. but I guess I'll be able to tell you when it's all said and done. lol sorry i don't have more to give.

Mars has been in my 8th house for almost 2 months. Later this month, it'll leave, but then return & be there for another 3 months.

When it first entered my 8th, I did have two fights with people close to me, that were followed with long conversations about the root of the problem. One of these fights was with my SO, & he had T Mars in his 3rd house, approaching his IC. The other fight was with a friend & colleague, but I don't know his birth time so I don't know what transits he was going through. I'd say that for me, what T Mars in my 8th did was make me need to have intimate conversations completely honestly, without any attempts at being diplomatic. (I have Gemini on my 8th house cusp though, so perhaps that explains the link with communication.) Rather than try to soothe any conflicts, I had more of a "bring it on" attitude.

Sexually, I haven't felt much different. But in my Composite & Davison with my fiance we have Mars in the 8th house (in Leo), so that energy is the norm for us.
Edit: Actually, I have been a little different. I've been more aware of sexual tension with other men. Normally, it's something that I'm either oblivious to or deliberately ignore, but I've been more sensitive to those sparks lately.

LOL. When you have a natal mars/pluto/ascendant in scorpio, it could get even MORE interesting I'm guessing....
