Does anyone have these moon placements? My moon is in my partners 8th house, his moon is in my 4th house. John Lennon and Yoko Ono have this, as did Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Are these moon placements common? How can these moon placement affect the relationship? Is this a good sign of a karmic or long lasting relationship?

hi

it seems to me that it would be compatible. this is from http://www.astrology-numerology.com/synastry-houses.html#Moon

Moon 4th house
The Moon in partner's fourth house makes for close relationships where family and domestic issues are concerned. You have strong emotional connection based on family ties or a similar early family experience. Domestic matters are at the core of your relationship. There is a strong sense of feeling "at home" together with this placement in the comparative chart.

Moon 8th house
The Moon in partner's eighth house is good for business relationships and relates to the handling of joint funds in a personal relationship. In some cases, the Moon individual may stimulate interest in occult or psychic phenomena in the partner. There is apt to be a lot of emotion in this pairing and it can easily develop into an all or nothing sort of relationship. Emotional quarrels over money may erupt, especially if the cross-aspects are adverse.

i would think the 4th house moon would be very soothing to the 8th house and the 8th would bring the 4th more depth. i have my moon in the 4th and moon in 8th does not scare me even though it might some because of all of its intensity..?

I dunno about karmic, but it sounds vry nice! Especially your moon in someone's 4th.

Nearly every guy I've dated recently has had thier moon in my 4th(Yep...I love those controversial Virgo Mooners).I read somewhere that it is good for someone to have their luminaries(Sun/Moon) in your 4th,8th,or 12th houses.(So this explains why I get along so well w/ fellow Taurus,Virgo and Cappie Suns...)

As for Moon in the 4th...I found I feel "at home" with these people relatively quickly.

I had that same pattern with an ex I was with for 2 years; his Moon in my 4th, mine in his 8th. We broke up years ago, but we're still friends.
I don't know if these Moon overlays explain it, but we bonded very quickly (immediately felt familiar) & experienced that love at first sight spark.
We didn't have as emotionally intense & intimate a relationship as you would think with those placements. It was more a friendship with very strong sexual attraction. Not to say there wasn't love. I loved him a lot & still do.
