With the recent announcement that J-Lo and Halle Berry (both Leo women) are pregnant, it got me thinking about Leos. Both Halle and J-Lo have admitted that they have been trying for a very long time to concieve.I personally know 2 Leos with fertility issues. The first is my sister. She delivered a still born baby at 6 months gestation. That's the longest she's ever been pregnant. She has had 2 ectopic pregnancies. The first almost killed her and she had to have her fallopian tube removed on the side of the ectopic. The second ectopic pregnancy scarred her remaining tube so badly that it had to be removed. She's 25 and will never have children. The other Leo is best friend from high school. He had luekemia when he was 16 and the chemo/radiation left him sterile. Linda mentioned in one of her books that Leos tend to have very small families. Anyone have any clues as to why? Does it have to do with the Sun as ruler?

You may be on to something there. One of my close friends is a Leo, and she may never have children. She's 28, and has had reproductive issues for years. She already had one surgery for endometriosis, and will eventually (likely sometime in her 30's) have to have a hysterectomy. Her doctor told her that it would be difficult to conceive, and if she did, she would have to do it no later than her early 30's. She's 28, and not even close to marriage at this point. She has talked about artificial insemination though. She really wants a child. Her mom is a Leo, as was her "dad." Apparently he was sterile, so her mom used a sperm donor to conceive her and her sister. However, her mom had reproductive troubles that began in her late 30's and eventually had to have a hysterectomy. I used to work with another Leo that couldn't have children. She didn't get into the reasons why, but I know she had reproductive problems. My dad was a Leo too, though my parents didn't have any problems. It makes sense though, since Leo is traditionally associated with children. IP: Logged |

My mom is a Leo, and she's had 5 kids. The first and the last ones weren't planned, so I don't think she had any fertility issues.IP: Logged |

Cranky, I would encourage your friend to have her eggs frozen. That way, she will have more options later on.My friend Christopher whom I mentioned earlier had cancer, he wishes so badly that he could have had the option of freezing his sperm. He was in his mid-teens when he was diagnosed. No one even thougth to have his sperm frozen for later. IP: Logged |

For fertility issues you look at the Natal Moon. Water signs being the most fruitful.Another good clue is Lilith, Issues with childbirth, complicated pregnancies, etc. can also be seen here. good luck IP: Logged |

Lalinda - how do you find out where Lillith is in a chart? My family doesn't have any Leo's, but a TON of female reproductive problems - myself, sisters, mom, grandmas, etc... and I'm curious to see how Lillith would fit into our charts. IP: Logged |

It seems some Leos have fertility problems and some have tons of kids! I guess I'm in the middle of the spectrum. I'm a Leo, have 5 children, and for every child I've had I've had a miscarriage. That's a really interesting observation Scorpio Chick! With Leo ruling the 5th house, you'd think that Leo's would have little problems in the fertility department. Apparently that's not so! Mom and daughter both having reproductive problems? Sounds genetic to me. IP: Logged |

I don't think that Leo women tend to have fertility issues. The 5th house (the house of Leo) is actually associated with children, creation, etc.I know 3 Leo women that have tons of kids. The 1st one I know has 6 kids. The 2nd one I know has 4 kids by 4 different men. The 3rd one I know has 7 kids by 6 different men. Lol I'm not kidding! IP: Logged |
