A: has Scorpio Sun
B: has Strongly aspected Pluto
C: has 8th house stellium

*assuming these are the only scorpio influence they each have*

Who will be more Scorpio-like? and in what order

i have Virgo Sun

a 2nd house stellium ( Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn )

and the Pluto aspects are :

Sun semisquare Pluto
Moon opposition Pluto
Venus square Pluto
Mars conjunct Pluto
Jupiter semisextile Pluto
Uranus semisextile Pluto
Neptune sextile Pluto
NN sextile Pluto
IC conjunct Pluto

but

Uranus in Scorpio only

Maybe this makes more sense! Cause I'm trying to figure out the underbelly of astrology...in a clumsy way

The 8th house person – would direct their energies in Scorpionic areas. Maybe they’ll become a forensic scientist or something.. but they won’t necessarily have a Scorpionic character.

About a strongly aspected planet – I’m not sure whether that gives the planet more strength. I think unaspected planets, show up as odd balls and draw more attention.. Also, singleton planets (when the planet is the only one - put to work in the area where it stands alone) stand out.

Surely if that were true we'd all exhibit our Sun more strongly than anything else. Gemini will always act like Gemini. Leos will always act like Leos, Libras like Libras etc etc

It's like if person 1 & 2 have Cancer Moons where

1: has Moon in 1st conj Mercury

while

2: has moon in 12th conj Neptune

Would they both still "act" like Cancer Moons?

Assuming they have the same Sun & ASC (in diff degrees ). I'm trying to understand why so many people don't act like their Sun, or Moon or w/e

I could line up approx 5 close Leos and would find difficulty finding similarities. Some will show more Moon, others more Mars. While my sister is a shy & talkative Leo, my best friend[leo] has Virgo written all over her. My mother acts more like an aries than Libra with her sun conj Mars & SN in Aries. My ex Aries was more Scorpio because of his Moon, my Libra friend screams Sagittarius (ASC)...and only a few Libra traits like indecisive (like my mum). Am I confusing?

If A had a Moon or Mercury (or any other personal planet) in Scorpio instead of the Sun.. I probably would still say A - would be more Scorpio-like in comparison to the other two. But that’s just an astro-guess.. I don’t know the people.

I feel the same way, with the people I know. I think I've mentioned it on here before. I don't think there is a general astrological rule for *what* a person will display more. It depends on the individual chart and the individual person. Even twins who have the exact same charts and the same Ascendant - are different people (regardless of similarities).

The astrological answer: Yes. Because both of their Moons are still in Cancer.. but the Cancerian energy will be expressed differently when merged with the other planets. One will be like Cancer with a Mercury "flavor" and the other will be like Cancer with Neptune "flavor".

I believe A to be even further pronouced with poster having added the Sagittarius moon info... [Sagittarius understands Scorpio energy well and can express it]

I've read some people say eg

_____ has Gemini Sun but gives off Capricorn energy.

Or

_____ is a Virgo but acts like an Aries.

What made the Sun "weaker"

Or _____ has Leo Mars but is shy due to Cappy asc

What made that Mars "weaker"

What decides that a sign or aspect or stellium overshadows what? And why?

Why does that Cappy Sun act like a Gemini?

Why not say "despite strong Gemini, the Cappy sun shows through"
