Found this thought it might be intersting for others to read, I thought it was..

The marriage of former President Bill Clinton and presidential hopeful Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has all the makings of a good soap opera - political power, infidelity and scandal. The revelation of Bill's extramarital activities nearly unseated him from office. But in typical fixed-sign fashion - he's a Leo and she's a Scorpio - the couple walked through the fire of public humiliation with strength and determination, which kept their union together. So what's the true story behind this power couple? Let's compare their charts and see.

Bill has Sun in charismatic Leo, while Hillary has Sun in powerful Scorpio. The chemistry between the fiery lion and passionate scorpion is deep and tempestuous. Between the Clintons, a meeting of minds as well as bodies has undoubtedly prompted some scorching debates that heated the sheets as well. Typically, however, Leo and Scorpio are a difficult pairing because both are proud and stubborn, which can make for a colossal clash of wills. To make their relationship work, the Clintons would need to stake out their own territories by assuming separate responsibilities within their marriage. On the positive side, because Leo rules leadership and Scorpio rules transformation, their accomplishments together can help change the world.

An inspired Leo-Scorpio match
While their Suns clash in the willfulness department, their Moons are in harmony, indicating a supportive emotional flow between them. There's a strong spiritual connection as well. Water nurtures earth, so Hillary's Moon in watery Pisces sympathizes with Bill's Moon in earthy Taurus, which in turn gives some grounding to Hillary's idealistic emotional nature. Her empathetic Moon says she's a powerful ally for the underprivileged. In his book Giving, Bill cites his wife as being his role model for public service. Among her numerous volunteer efforts, she co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, worked on projects that offered legal services to the poor and has been active in numerous charitable activities aimed at improving healthcare and education for families in rural areas. Now the Clintons have their own foundation, which has been the focus of Bill's energy since he left office.

This brings us to Bill's strongly placed Neptune, which inspires his philanthropic efforts but is also responsible for his lapses in judgment in the romance arena. His Libra ascendant gives him an abundance of charm and a talent for law. But the most compelling force in his nature is the conjunction of Neptune, Venus and Mars in Libra in the first house. The Mars-Neptune energy gives him the drive to help others, but the accompanying sexual magnetism has gotten him into trouble. The Venus-Neptune energy says he needs a woman who is fair-minded and altruistic, but it also makes him prone to secret liaisons. Nonetheless, his Venus seems to have found a soulmate in Hillary, who expresses Libra-ness as a lawyer and an advocate for equality. Their mental compatibility is the basis of their attraction and intensifies their fascination for each other.

Hillary has some powerful Leo placements in her chart as well. Her Mars, Pluto and Saturn are conjunct in Leo, which indicates a talent for political leadership. The Mars placement also says she's attracted to charismatic leaders. As a couple, Hillary's fire-sign Mars spurs Bill's air-sign Mars to action, both in and out of the bedroom. His braininess turns her on, and her commanding style between the sheets fires him up.

Karmic glue for life
As for longevity, Hillary's Saturn in Leo near her husband's Sun indicates a karmic tie between them and gives their relationship staying power. Bill also has Saturn in Leo, which supports Hillary's Leo placements but weighs heavily on her Scorpio ones. This conflict played out during his presidency, which gave her opportunities to express her Leo ability to lead, but the public scrutiny and criticism were agonizing to her Scorpio nature, which is extremely private.

In the romance department, Hillary has Venus in intense Scorpio, which is more instinctual than Bill's Venus in intellectual Libra. He is attracted to Libra beauty and braininess, while she is attracted to Scorpio power and emotional depth. She may see him as being shallow at times - trysts with an intern are about as shallow as you can get - while he may see her as overly complicated. Bill's superficial sexual shenanigans may have been in response to Hillary's intensity.

Interestingly, this Leo-Scorpio conflict between Bill and Hillary shows up in her own nature. You could say it's a tug-of-war between outer (Leo) and inner (Scorpio) power. Like a true Scorpio, Hillary was the power behind the throne during her husband's presidency. Now her Leo planets may give her the opportunity to take the reins of leadership if she becomes the 44th president of the United States. And, in a role reversal for the couple, she would have her Leo husband by her side in the supportive role of "First Laddie."

Thanks Mama...that was interesting! Really, was there ever any doubt that these two must have some serious synastry going? How could they have gone through all that stuff and still be together? And personally, I am not one of those people who thinks the relationship is all for show. But hey...what do I know??? lol

That Sun/Saturn conjunction is a lifetime deal, hey anything with Saturn in that touches so close to a personal planet can stick to people together for ever..Whats Stonger you think Saturn conjunt Venus or Saturn conjunct Sun..Or are just as equal??? Anyone???

Also Welcome to the Mars in Aries club, there is a few of us around here with that placement..We have formed a support group for our Anger..Mars in Aries is not a real cool placement to keep the anger in check, however you have it in the 12th house don't know if thats good or bad..Do you hide your Anger???

Hey Mama! Thanks for inducting me into the club. Although, I'm reminded of Groucho Marx who said "I don't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member." LMAO Just kidding! I can get easily annoyed at times, but if we're talking about REAL anger then, YES! I mostly hide it...but then it seethes. And a few times (maybe about 5 times in my entire life) I have COMPLETELY lost it and gone ballistic!

As for the saturn connections, I never know what to make of them, really. I know they are binding, but restrictive too. Can't say what I think is stronger, sun-saturn or venus-saturn. Do you only use conjunctions when looking at saturn aspects? What do you think of this?

In synastry, my natal moon-saturn conjunction is conjunct my SO's natal moon-saturn conjunction. Also, my saturn square his venus 0 degree orb.

In the composite chart, composite saturn conjunct composite moon (obviously) but composite saturn square our stellium, which consists of sun, mercury, venus, mars, eros.

So, I hope saturn is the tie that binds and not the miserable jerk some people say he is!!! lol
