Astralmuse unregistered	posted October 25, 2007 02:17 PM Just go around your natal and look at each house and list out what sign it's in, then list the ruling planet of that sign, and then locate that planet in your chart. For example, Your 1st house begins in the sign of Virgo. Virgo is ruled by Mercury. In your chart, Mercury is in the 10th house. So the ruler of your 1st house is in the 10th house. IP: Logged

If you are doing Horary Astrology then only use Mars as Horary Astrology doesn't use the outer planets, namely Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. You can still use Mars to add insight about the issues of the house that is on Scorpio but you would use Pluto first. Other than that, you've got it. Your 3rd house is ruled by Venus and "co-ruled" by Pluto. So yes, your 3rd house has two rulers. Your 9th house is ruled by Mars and co-ruled by Venus. For LaLaLinda: You're right, her Venus is aspected by minor aspects. I was the one who told her in the recent past that her Venus is unaspected by Ptolemaic aspects (Conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition), and that makes her Venus Peregrine. My "opinion" is that someone just beginning to learn astrology should understand the basic aspects thoroughly first before hunting down the minor aspects.
