Ok so I have Venus in my ninth house. I'm supposed to love all the ninth house things which I don't. Honestly, I really can't stand philosophy, higher education all those things bore me. My Venus is in Gemini which bothers me somewhat as I am not as flighty/fickle as the position calls for. My Saturn is in there as well and I know it's supposed to delay things but trust me, it's not delayed, there's just no interest there for me. Can anyone think of any other interpretations for this placement? It bothers me as I can't seem to figure this one out. My ninth house ruler is Taurus by the way. Thanks for reading!IP: Logged |

are you a free spirit or a truth seeker? do you find yourself attracted to foreigners or people from another culture? how about long distance relationships?all of these fall under the 9th house. IP: Logged |

I suppose I'm a free spirit. Other then that none of those things apply to me. Basically, ninth is my house of least interest.IP: Logged |

I have Neptune and Jupiter in my 9th house. I figured that's why, ever since I was a young teen, I've been interested in astrology, tarot, spirits, astral viewing, lucid dreams and so on! You're on Linda's forum, so I know you have such interests as well, and that's how I've always seen the 9th house. I'm really happy with my 9th house influences in my life!IP: Logged |

That's true Capnsag. But it's not to the point where I would say I have a keen interest in the field of astrology, etc.... Ah! It bugs me, I can't figure this one out...IP: Logged |

It sounds like what you're tuning into is your Venus/Saturn conjunction. This aspect can have trust issues and some pessimism. You can look at anything as half full or half empty, it's your own personal choice IP: Logged |

Venus in a loose conjunction with Saturn is sometimes likened to Libra - beauty, fairness, justice, equality will be very important. A *lot* of artists have that combo. In the 9th House, Venus requires meaning in relationships, add a Saturn conjunction and there is also a need for loyalty and steadfastness. You definitely won't fit the usual Venus in Gemini one-line descriptions. However, (I always feel like I'm in the midst of writing an essay when I type that...) your poor Venus has two rough squares and an opposition. It can be hard for you to understand how your Venus factors into your self-expression. Like lalalinda said, 9th house isn't just philosophy and edumahcayshun. It's journeys (within and without), siblings, dreams, intuition, science, and philanthropy. IP: Logged |

Yes, yes, Astra that meaningful loyalty thing in relationships is aaaalll about me. I dont understand the casual dating thing. But I would think that would apply to a lot of people..... Ugh, hate Science.Oh, my "poor venus"....my love life isnt exactly sunshine and roses that's for sure. IP: Logged |

Hi LeoCat,With Venus in the 9th house I would ask you how you feel about art. Are you a skilled artist? And even if you don't like higher education, how do you feel about teaching others what you know about art. Saturn is also a teacher. I might also ask you if you have any interest in government. Do you ever find teaching or lecturing opportunities popping up in your life, even in an informal way? How about writing and publishing opportunities. One thing I noticed about people who have stressful aspects between Venus and Saturn is that they've got incredible artistic skills but they don't feel their skills are worthy, they put themselves down about their skills and this can cause them to block artistic opportunities. This may not be the case for you, LeoCat, but do any of these things ring any bells? Geocosmic Valentine ------------------ "Everybody is a star!" Sly & The Family Stone IP: Logged |
