Hello.Can someone interpret Mars square nodal axis aspect in a synastry chart? What kind of relationship dynamics does it denote, especially for the person whose nodes are squared? Basically, female chart has a T-square(IC, with Pluto and Mercury in Scorpio sitting on it, opposes MC in Taurus) with the Mars squaring the IC/MC axis from the 6th house. Male`s nodal axis falls exactlly on female`s IC/MC opposition. Thanx.

Hey there! Don't get too excited, because I don't have an answer for you.  I'm posting so this gets bumped because I'd like to know this, too! My lunar node is exactly conjunct my SO's MC/IC (NN conjunct MC and SN conjunct IC) and I can't really find any info about it. I'm glad you brought this up.  ------------------
Sun - Capricorn (10th House)
Moon - Gemini (2nd House)
Mercury - Sagittarius (9th House)
Venus - Aquarius (11th House)
Mars - Aries (12th House)

Conjunctions to a node emphasize the node and the planets conjunct the node. The planets may be caught up with how the node expresses itself. I, for one, am not convinced the south node is all bad. I think the nodal axis is about balance - using the south node as a base while we work toward the north node. The nodes have some alot in common with each other and ultimately both need to be used in life. I think both can be abused as well. Planets square the axis may be used as a balancing point in a general way but I would not worry about it being a traditionally negative square energy. I say this in a more theoretical way. I doubt you would really feel the square energy the way you would if mars was natally square your moon, for instance. The nodal axis in my experience is suggestive of an overall picture - it is not an immediate energy which responds to transits or aspects in a natal chart. It is much more abstract. IP: Logged | |
