Today is my birthday and I feel like I'm carrying the weight of the world. I don't know what to make of it either. There's no reason I should feel like this.
I know that most people at some point start hating their birthdays because it means they're getting old, but I don't feel bad about that. I'm only 28 and I look much younger anyway. I made plans to celebrate my birthday too(which I haven't done since I was 12 :S). Plus I'm not going through anything difficult right now. On the contrary my life is getting better. I achieved things and feel like my life is so improved compared to where it was last year. For the last couple of days though I'm so depressed and all I want to do is crawl in my bed and stay there for about a week.

What I'm worried about is weither or not that means that I'm going to feel like this all year?

Being a November 3rd. Scorpio, I get bummed out at times too. I am totally disabled. I give myself little optimism talks and and look for things to be happy and thankful for. I then see that I am actually very blessed and not cursed as I sometimes feel when I am feeling physically awful, or terrified as with a recent stroke which affected my eyesight.
Take time to sit down and write a list of all you have to be happy for. And by all means...do go out and celebrate! I think Some of us can get into a rut and forget to be really really nice to ourselves. You deserve happiness! Especially on your birthday!

too hard to veiw that on a 17 inch screen ..
what is quite noticable is the tChiron squaring natal Chiron
sun looks fairly square to the ascendant ..
t.saturn close to natal jupiter

t.venus is only a few degrees off natal saturn
t.merc midway between IC and natal pluto
transiting venus opposite natal moon

that last one is at fairly close orb ..
might account for ** For the last couple of days though I'm so depressed **

under those conditions .. e.g. t.chiron square to natal chiron
( a potentially difficult one from the point of ' how one feels' .. )
if you feel down .. just note the faster transits .. e.g. from t.venus etc
transiting moon for example is good at effecting one's feelings over a day ..
t.venus is like mars .. peaks over a two day period .. felt for maybe a couple of days before it reaches 'exact' ..

I felt like that when I turned 30. Not because of my age, but I was suddenly very down in the dumps... sometimes there's no explanation but simply an unconscious reaction to reaching a milestone. I hope you're feeling better now!

Sad to hear you got the Blues on your Birthday
Astrologically, I think the culprit may be tSaturn sitting on your Nodal axis in the 2nd/8th, and I see that the transiting NN has just passed your natal South Node, so you're halfway to your 2nd Nodal Return (every 19 years or so).
The Nodes seem to be very sensitive points on a chart, and your axis is focused in the houses of "values" -- the 2nd house being your personal resources (Inner and Outer). tSaturn may be "forcing" you to contemplate what you have (and what you have not). Saturn is not a *malefic* planet -- Saturn just wants you to get on the right life-path (NN) and gives you a not-so-gentle shove back onto the road if you've driven into the ditch. Do you remember being very depressed or lacking self-esteem approx. 7 years ago??

With tJupiter right on your Vertex in the 5th house, I'd say a Giant Doorway will open for you, or perhaps has opened already and you haven't noticed it due to your current mood.....

Even though you are blue today, it's not a complete bust. I have come to realize that our birthdays can be celebrated for a week, so when I celebrate I do it for an entire week. That way, no one can really be late with a gift, card or present and you can party all week long.

28 is your Saturn Return and I'm one of those people who doesn't think it's doom and gloom. Saturn is tool for you to use. It's your personal hammer to build and stabilize your life with. It must be Venus conjuncting my Saturn. That is a very sensitive point for me. My Saturn always makes me feel inadequate and unworthy.

I intend to go out and celebrate my birthday on Saturday night (Sunday morning more likely ) so hopefully I'll have a good time then.

Azalaksh 7 years ago was pretty rough time for me. I was in college and hating it and I didn't know weither or not to drop out or continue..Anyway, I was going through another phase where all I wanted was to stay home and do nothing. I get like that every time I feel depressed (S.N in Pisces in my 8th house).
