Today, I ordered a copy of that controversial new Charles Schulz biography... And that inspired me to make a list of the characters & their sun signs. Not everyone was given a bday by Schulz, in which case the bday is considered the first day they appeared in print. Here they are!

Charles Schulz, creator Sagittarius, 26 November

Charlie Brown Scorpio, 30 October

Charlotte Braun Sagittarius, 30 November

Eudora Gemini, 13 June

Franklin Armstrong Leo, 31 July

Frieda Pisces, 03 March

Lila Virgo, 24 August

Linus Van Pelt Scorpio/Sagittarius, 22 November

Lucy Van Pelt Pisces, 03 March

Marcie Libra, 11 October

Patty Scorpio, 04 November

Peppermint Patty (Patricia Reichardt) Libra, 04 October

Pig-Pen Cancer, 13 July

Poochie Capricorn, 07 January

Rerun Van Pelt Aries, 26 March

Sally Brown Gemini, 26 May

Schroeder Capricorn, 18 January

Snoopy Virgo, 28 August

Violet Gray Gemini, 17 June

Woodstock Cancer, 22 June

I love those characters, too!

The author, Alan Alexander Milne, was a Capricorn Sun, Capricorn Moon. I'll have to look at his bio and see if there is a time listed. The real Christopher Robin, Milne's son, was a Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Virgo Ascendant.

Here is a pretty cool list an astrologer made of who's what and why. She's got some solid reasoning, although I personally always thought of Christopher Robin as a Leo like his real-life counterpart and of Owl as a Capricorn... But I totally see Tigger as an Aries!

Winnie the Pooh is a Cancer. He worries a lot, saying "Oh, bother!", and is very reassuring/mothering to Piglet. Pooh spends most of his time contemplating food, owing to his very soft, moon-like shape.

Eeyore is Piscean. He is a Piscean blue color, and he tends to be quite paranoid. He enjoys the solitude of his house, and though he sees no need for lots of friends, he has a very sensitive, perceptive spirit. It is common to find Eeyore out on a ridge overlooking the 100 acre wood, contemplating life's mysteries in true Piscean fashion.

Piglet is Virgo. He is terribly worrisome, and nervous. He is overly helpful, and very precise and neat in his service. His pinkness is indicative of the new, virginal, feminine qualities he embodies, and his quiet, carefully measured voice marks him as a clear Virgo.

Owl is a Sagittarian. He an intellectual, and prefers the company of a book to that of his friends. He is considered a great person to turn to for advice and to listen to problems. Owl also has no trouble speaking his mind - he is blunt to a fault - and has a sense of humor that is considered odd among his friends. He also is endowed with a great Sagittarian love of storytelling, and can wax poetic for hours about his genealogy.

Rabbit is the Taurus. he is very conservative, and feels his best when he is putting his claws into the earth is his garden, and getting his fingers dirty. He hates wildness and disorder as a general rule (such as his dislike for Tigger), and will stubbornly try to change those traits which he dislikes in others to suit his taste. Rabbit also appreciates fine things, such as art, furniture, and his well-kept house, all Venus-ruled Taurian traits.

Kanga is also a Cancerian. She's the archetypical mother of the show, tending to Roo, and baking, cooking, hanging out laundry, housecleaning, etc.

Roo is a Gemini. He represents the eternal child, and has two distinct personalities. On one hand, he is very cautious and gentile, especially around his mother, and Piglet. But when coupled with his best friend Tigger, he becomes loud, anxious, and adventurous.

Kessie (a new character) is an Aquarian. She is a light blue bird with a lovely voice. (flight, the color aqua, and heavenly song are all aquarian traits), and alternates between being very sociable, and terribly withdrawn. She is also usually the first among the group to have new ideas, and try new things.

Christopher Robin is a Gemini as well. He is another perpetual child, and his Gemini tongue is very critical of others, such as when he says of Pooh, "silly ole bear". It is also his colorful Gemini imagination that brings his toys and that 100 acre wood to life.

Tigger is clearly a fire sign, though which one is not clear. He could well be a leo, as he is extremely bossy, and has a terribly self-centered way of looking at the world. "I'm the only one!" he says in the song. The fact that Tigger is a big flame-colored cat also supports the argument for his Leo nature. Tigger could be a Sagittarian, as he is quite clumsy, and he does have the archer's trait of being in love with his own voice. However, he does not have the intellectual drive of a Sagittarian. Tigger is most likely an Aries. He has a very short temper. Tigger can get mad, but like a typical Aries, he never stays mad for very long. Ariens like Tigger are generally good-humored, and smiley folks. Ariens also tend to go where angels fear to tread. Tigger's "bouncy, rubbery, fun-fun-fun" sense of adventure is very Ariean.

I always thought Eeyore was a fellow Cappie with his "woe is me" attitude...but I love him! Btw, no offense taken, Aqua! Just out of curiosity, what did he do to Pooh that you think was so mean? I'm sure I can explain it from the Cappie point of view! lol

To get back to the main thread, I always saw Peppermint Patty as an Aquarius, but I can see Scorpio, too. And I'm sorry...but Lucy just HAS to be an Aries, or at least have her mercury there! lol

Edit: Oops! I looked at the wrong Patty. Hmmmm...I don't see her as a Libra.

Wouldn't his "real" bday logically be the day he was created at the factory? With fictional characters not given bdays by the author, it's usually calculated as their first day in print, so the Pooh folk would all be Libras.

I actually read the books, and I reread them once a year. I must've missed a part when Eeyore pushed Pooh off a cliff or something. Eeyore was pretty kind to Pooh, always thanking him and telling him he's a true friend, etc.

I didn't think he was mean. He was just sad and a bit depressed. So, yeah, sterotypical cappy fits, I guess.

Lucy was really bossy! So, definately a maladjusted aries, or a F***ed up moon in a f***ed up house, with some nasty aspects - moon square pluto and a tight trine to mars?

Woo whoo, over here *waves hands
My husband a Pisces Sun and Moon says; "100% without a doubt Eeyore is a Pisces." And "yes, even pisces can be evil they just may not see it themselves havin' a nature so out of touch with reality." -LOL!

lol he's just mean, even my baby sis was like -> when she read the book

I remember he'd mutter under his breath insults to pooh, and just be overly patronising and just...I dunno

Anyway he doesn't fit the archetypal description of pisces

to be a pisces you must be some of these things

*forgetful
*slip from one mood to another effortlessly
*play the zodiac game of being a different sign every day/week/month
*be continuously changing/evolving - never be the same person for too long

I dunno, he's always the same, never changing. Pisces change, it's a never ending process. There's nothing fixed about us - eeyore is the same old same old

However I do NOT think eeyore fits a cappy description, at least not a typical one anyway.

why...i'll divide them equally between Aquarius & Aries...naturally

ummm...I find your husband slightly scary of course I know there are bad pisceans, no need to patronise! It's just pisces as a sign itself doesn't have anything that would be considered mean. look at all the typical characteristics of pisces...nothing is bad. It's often their Moon, mars...w/e that makes them...well mean I guess.

See? pisceans are only mean due to other influences. I don't think Lucy is a bad person, I like her. She seems very Virgo...bold, and some libra cause she's very "in your face" type

I dunno how deeply you wanna go, but she has SN in Virgo with Moon in Gem, Mars in Scorp and some messed up aspects.

Too deep? I think so
