Help - I don't have ARIES anywhere in my natal chart. Then why do I feel like one??

I've read over Linda Goodman's description of Aries and I feel like a lot of it fits me.

Please go to www.astro.com. Right under the “Astrodienst Astro.com” in the blue title bar is a section called "Free Horoscopes", click on that. Under "Please select your free horoscope" choose the section headed in gray called "Horoscope Chart Drawings" and pick "Extended Chart Selection". Click on "Add a New Person" and set yourself up. Then under "please select the type of chart you want" drop-down box, choose "natal chart wheel" and click on the "click here to show the chart" button.
Once you've run that you'll have all your planetary positions (and a nice picture!).
At the "Horoscope Home" page, you can now click on "Portrait" under “Astrodienst Free Horoscopes" in red. Down at the bottom of your "Short Report - Personal Portrait" is the text listing of all your planetary and house positions.

Since you have a Leo rising it is quite possibly to have a 1st house Virgo Mars as stated above
But what exactly from Linda`s description makes you feel like an Aries ? Leo and Aries are rather similar in some respects

I dunno...I think the combination of your placements could describe a lot of what Linda described as an Aries...and my experience with Aries males isn't in line with what hers were. Every one of the men I knew would lie like a rug! Just to say that there are lots of combinations/possibilites for every sun sign. (And I'm sure that there are lots of honest Aries men out there. I just happened to find the other ones...sigh.)

I just wondered if you were supposed to have been born an Aries.
Like if you were a late Aquarian born Like February 19, then if you had been born about 5 weeks early or more, you could have been slated to be an Aries.
I am a Scorpio but should have been a January Capricorn for example.
Because I was supposed to be a Cappricorn, I was not conceived at the time a Scorpio should have been conceived.
I hope that made sense.

This rings true for me too, and having fayte.m and Zala's astro know how, I was able to figure out how.

I am a Virgo Sun, but I feel like a Scorpio and act like one.

Astrologically, this is due to the fact that my Scorpio is dignified a lot, with my ASC being Scorpio and also my Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio in the first house.

I was also born prematurely and could have been a Scorpio or Libra/Scorpio cusp were I born in the "right" time.

So, both theories do say the same thing even if they are from different disciplines or arts.

I found this highly fascinating too.

Hey I'm a Leo Asc with a first house virgo mars.

Mind you, I'm a gemini, but I was meant to be a Leo so I was born very early!! whats the theory on premature births then?? always wondered about that!!

That's an interesting theory Fayte.

We don't really know what causes people to take on the characteristics of a sign, it may be that being natal during certain months is the cause, and thus someone born prematurely may take on the characteristics of later signs.......smart woman

I am an Aries born 2 days after the cusp of Pisces (March 23rd) and had a Pisces due date, March 17.

I feel like I do have some Arien qualities but I feel much more like a Pisces and my rising sign, Libra combined. I can feel deeply connected with other people's emotions and enjoy intellectual stimulation...it may be something else in my chart but if I could be another sign to be I would definately choose to be a Pisces sun.
Not to mention I get along well with all Pisceans I meet

It's interesting, but I dont buy it.
I think we're born exactly when we "should" be born.

The natal chart is a mandala of your individual karma.
You and your natal chart attract each other,
and if you are premature, it is no mistake.
This is the synchronistic view of the universe.
If your mother carried "you" to term,
she would have birthed a different person.

This is why c-section births,
and drug-assisted births,
are far more likely to have Neptune
on or aspecting the Ascendant.
And the people born are indeed Neptunian,
despite the so-called unnatural nature of their births.

I myself was premature, 4lbs,
and then i lost weight,
had to be in an incubator for a week.
My chart still fits me to a "T".
(see: Pluto square Cappy Ascendant)

If you feel like a Capricorn, Fayte,
might I suggest it is because your
Sun is closely conjunct Saturn.

Ooh, ooh! I forgot to add a cute little story about my "Arian" facet... the one regarding talking back to cops and armed gangsters. Hehe.

When I was a kid, I had no problem reprimanding adults if I knew deep inside that they were wrong. Once I yelled at a mother. She was watching her kid abuse a dog from the 10th floor of an apartment building. I yelled up at her for just letting it happen. She yelled back at me because she thought I should mind my own business and shouldn't be talking to adults that way. My friend who was with me also tried to calm me down, but I felt no remorse whatsoever... what I felt was indignation.
