Daily Cosmic Calendar

Stop, look and listen! As indicated at the close of yesterday's cosmic forecast, Mars stops and begins a 77-day retrograde cycle at 12:26AM PST (energizing 13 degrees of Cancer). Just three minutes earlier, Venus makes a frictional 45-degree link to Juno - increasing the potential for emotional storminess and relationship challenges. [Mars remains in reverse until January 30, 2008 when it will make a direct station and go forward at 25 degrees of Gemini.] All Mars themes - passion and desire, leadership and courage, vitality and energy, muscular strength and the blood stream, sports and exercise, martial arts, devotion and dedication, zeal and fanaticism, impulsive actions, volatility and anger - are activated now and over the next few days. Engaging in fiery debates and spewing inflammatory rhetoric at unsuspecting partners will probably boomerang with nasty results. Adding to the strange vibrations of the day is a long void lunar cycle that starts at 1:20AM PST and concludes at 3:31PM PST when the Moon switches gears from pragmatic Capricorn to service-oriented Aquarius. Finish old business during the 14+ hour void time-period. Don't launch new ventures until the Moon enters airy Aquarius. However, even though 3:31PM PST brings a new lunar energy-field for the next two days, the Mars station dominates the psychic landscape. Arm-twisting maneuvers and blatant attempts to make others do your bidding are bush league. Group projects and advanced studies in science, medicine and high technology can keep you out of trouble.

Bibi that sounds crazy! How did you figure out that it was retrograde in your chart when you were born? does it say it when you get your chart calculated or something?

------------------
sun - gemini
moon - libra
asc. - scorpio

Thats wierd that Mars is Retro right now.. because I have orientation for a new job today. The people here seem nice. For those of you who know about my last job experience and and all the stuff I posted on it, this is a good thing ,lol. But I think the girl who gave me an interview and who hired me, thinks Im cute or something.. she is always joking whenever she calls me or leaves messages. Me think I have an idea, lol!

Im going to post the chart of me and orientation unlike my last job I will have all the info on when I started and everything to see exactly what is going on.

The only thing I see beneficial is transiting mars conjunct my natal Mercury. Transiting Mars trine My natal Pluto. Transiting moon trine my natal jupiter.. maybe the Jupiter/Venus Opposition?

I dont know we'll see. wish me luck

Daily Cosmic Calendar

This is a good point in the Cosmic Calendar to remember that an event like Mars stopping does not dissipate in 24 hours. Yesterday's pause and shift into reverse motion by the red planet is still setting off shock waves around humanity during the next few days. Strive for serenity and peace of mind. Steer clear of arguments, debates and inflammatory rhetoric that could alienate friends, family members or associates. While Mars remains a threat to happiness and contentment, the Moon makes a flowing trine to Venus in air signs (7:33AM PST). Opportunities are knocking in the fine and graphic arts, music, dance, poetry, pottery, and cultural activities. Learn more about alternative medicine and holistic healing - thanks to the monthly Moon-Chiron union in Aquarius (12:09PM PST). Build bridges of friendship and trust with overseas pen pals or classmates from your childhood days. The big event of the day is Mercury coming into contact with Saturn at 3:23PM PST (via a supportive, 60-degree alignment) while also linking up with giant Jupiter at 8:59PM PST (by a more abrasive 45-degree tie). Recall that Jupiter and Saturn are the two largest planets and Mercury is the key to communications. Something big and significant may be looming in your life that needs extra attention, recognition and understanding. The Mercury association with Saturn encourages you to seek out experienced mentors, counselors or teachers who can assist you with important ventures. The Mercury-Jupiter contact reminds you to steer clear of over-optimism and a know-it-all attitude. Keep your dream journal close by overnight to record nocturnal journeys and Technicolor visions of the great beyond as the Moon approaches its monthly union with Neptune (exact at 3:49AM PST tomorrow morning).

Daily Cosmic Calendar

The recent Mars station - while still strong - is beginning to lessen in severity. You are advised to remain watchful of what you say and how you say it. It's easy to stir up a hornet's nest of interpersonal troubles by uttering a flippant remark or sarcastic comment. Rash and reckless behavior will probably bring quick karmic response from the universe. On the positive side, today looks promising for antique hunters since the Moon conjuncts visionary Neptune in Aquarius (3:49AM PST) while the Moon makes a supportive, 60-degree link to Jupiter in Sagittarius (10:40AM PST). Both lunar aspects can coincide with increasing exuberance, buoyancy and exhilarating feelings. However, before you know it the First Quarter Sun-Moon Phase arrives on the scene (2:34PM PST and energizing 26 degrees of Scorpio and Aquarius). The standard rule of thumb during a quarter moon phase like this is to cut through obstacles on physical and emotional levels. At the same time, you want to manage your life and business matters with greater finesse. Keep in mind that team sports can be a blast during Aquarius Moon. If soccer and football don't excite your senses, consider joining a bowling league or volleyball tournament in your community. Uncertainty reigns during a 4+ void lunar cycle this evening that begins at 6:52PM PST and concludes at 11:16PM PST with the entry of the Moon into watery Pisces. Finish old projects on a high note during the void lunar cycle, but don't launch bold ventures. After 11:16PM PST, enjoy watching a film classic or read a sci-fi novel. Ingenious ideas are pervasive as the monthly Moon-Pallas union in Pisces approaches (exact at 2:24AM PST tomorrow morning).

Mercury going retrograde seldom bothers me, and I don't have the retrograde natally.

Mercury is my chart ruler, though. My retrograde Saturn in Gemini in the 1st opposes my Mercury. Mercury also rules my Moon's sign, and three of my houses (2 Gemini, 1 Virgo). I think my chart is Mercury-laden.

What is a mars retrograde? Is it only certain people that will notice this retrograde and when does the retrograde end? What about a birthday of 11/15/75?

Bibi,

Yes, it is generally accepted that you may quote astrological sources if you give credit. That's what most people do around here.
