Mercury 5th house
Mercury 8th house
Uranus 5th house
Uranus 8th house

Can't think of any others.

Uhm, I have Mercury in fifth and I'm not transgender!

I'm curious, why did you list those placements?

Mercury along with Uranus repesents change.
5th & 8th house governs sex and sexuality.
This is why I believe these aspects could have a possible influence.

sexuality and identity are two different things.
I think being transgender has more to do with identity, who you think you are as a person, be that your brain, soul what ever...
Identity 1st and sexuality 2nd
I would look more to the first and maybe 10th houses... as well as venus and mercury.
as well as the 12th house, planets in pisces and aspects to neptune.
the last likly being the most important
I don't doubt scorpio plays a role as well, it being the ruler of genitalia and all

I'm basing this on the greek myth of the hermaphrodite
I know being transgender and a hermaphrodite arn't the same thing but they are connected

great topic by the way , i've never even thought about it myself untill you brought it up
