Topic: Sag male-Cap female combo: any thoughts?

Just curious to know what the outlook would be between myself and a Sag male. We've been friends for almost 4 years and I wondered if this could extend into a happy long-term relationship.

I'm a Sag female and my special someone is a Cappy ... To cut to the chase right away, I think Cappies and Sags can learn a great deal from each other. Whether those two get along or not depends on other factors in their synastry. Comparing Sun signs alone will never tell you the whole story. There's more to compatibility than just Sun signs. You didn't post your birthtimes and birthplaces, so I can't tell if you have any aspects between your planets. But his Mars in Libra is trine by sign to your Venus in Aquarius and your Mars in Cancer is trine by sign to his Venus in Scorpio, which is really good for compatibility, especially if they are also trine by orb. Your Scorpio Ascendant is compatible to his Ascendant and Venus, his Scorpio Ascendant is compatible to your Mars. But why don't you post your synastry chart??? It would be easier to tell you more about your basic compatibility, if we also had a chart to analyze. IP: Logged |

Yeah, this is mostly a guess, but I think you're good. Sag and Cap come at things from vastly different viewpoints, but there's a lot of respect between the signs. Taking both of your ages into account, I would have to guess that your maturity levels can overcome any obstacles you run into.IP: Logged |

What I do know is that we communicate very well together, but b/c of his passive-aggressive/bipolar tendencies there have been some rather "intense" moments between us. The easiest way to post your chart: 1. Save the chart from astro.com to your desktop
2. Upload the saved chart from your desktop to an image hosting website (e.g. imageshack.us or photobucket.com)

I'm no expert, so take my analysis with a grain of salt.So here's what I see: *Your Ascendants are conjunct which means that you approach the world in a similar fashion.
*Your Ascendant tightly conjuncts his Venus which is a very good aspect to have in a romantic relationship.
*Your Moon trines his Mercury which should help communication between the two of you.
*His Moon trines your stellium of Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn which again is very good for compatibility
*Your Venus/Chiron conjunction trines his Jupiter which means that you feel at home with each other and simply have fun together. It is also trine his Neptune which adds a somewhat dreamy quality to your relationship.
*His Venus sextiles your Saturn which supports the stability of this relationship.
*Your Venus opposes his Pluto which can cause a lot of passion. On a more negative note it may also cause jealousy and possessiveness Aspects that could be difficult to handle:
*Your Moon squares his Mars - this one can be very explosive and can cause a lot of hurt feelings on your part
*Your Sun squares his Mars - this one is not a dramatic clash. However, it can mean that he becomes impatient with you very fast and then gets angry. But with a little effort on his part he can learn to be more patient with you.

Y'know SagSun... your perceptions about this seem accurate. Much of what you 'see' here makes sense. What's uncanny is we've both just recently been through an explosive argument which has now separated us (those negative aspects ring true!)
