I've been having this intense feeling for a while relating to money and material things. I've never been overtly interested in money or possessions, despite being a Taurus - but lately I'm excited about money and all the things I want to buy. It's so weird for me. I have this intense drive to improve my lifestyle... get a really nice home, buy lots of nice clothes, etc. I've developed something like a compulsion to visit jewellery stores and look at diamond rings and stuff like that, that I can't actually afford! I'm being drawn to expensive tastes and I have a sense that I can have these things and that it's all perfectly within my reach. However, objectively, it's not.

I would say that it's as though I'm deluding myself, but it doesn't feel like a delusion - and no, I'm not experiencing any Neptune transits!

What I *am* experiencing the is Jupiter-Pluto conjunction to my ASC (which I've just learned is at the Aries Point), which is Jupiter-ruled... all of this is also trining my sun in the fifth (I have ASC trine sun natally also). It's definitely a feel-good transit for me. Saturn is also transiting my 10th house so it's possible that's giving me an extra 'kick' to achieve in the outer world.

What I'm wondering is, do these transits point to long-lasting changes for me, or will they simply pass and then I'll go back to being my usual self? And do they mean that I *will* achieve these material things, or is it more of a 'feeling' for me? The weird thing is that I don't even feel like I'm being overtly materialistic, but that it's more to do with beauty and quality, and feeling good. I wouldn't like to be a person who only cares about material things. Strangely enough I'm also experiencing an outpouring of wanting to give to others - to charities and so on. I guess this is Jupiter at work!

So yeah, any input on these transits and whether they'll have a long term effect on me?

Hi GeminiLover75,

I suggest that you visualize yourself as successful and having all of those things that you desire. Record the time that you did this visualization and make a chart of the time that you did it. That chart will represent your vision stamped into the universal energy. That will be the birthdate and time of your creation of the blue print that draws all your desires and yes, you will have those things permanently. Keep that chart forever and watch it the transits and changes that occur to it. Especially on December 11th when the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction is exact.

I'm trying to figure out what I want to create and visualize on that day. I need to have it be the birthdate of an incredible wish that will come true or the birth of a project that I need and want to be successful beyond my wildest dreams.

Jupiter-Pluto aspects within themselves, whether they are positive aspects or stressful aspects are the biggest indicators of wealth. My Sun is being trined by Jupiter now and when the conjunction happens, it will still be within a 3 degree orb or my Sun. That is SUPER COLOSAL REWARD ENERGY. You are experiencing that now as well on your Ascendent. The only drawback might be that you gain a little weight from Jupiter expanding your image or physicality, but heck, who cares. I love ya fat or skinny, there's just more to love.

I'd rather be Fat and Happy than skinny and miserable any day!!!

Not only that, the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction happens right at my Venus/Jupiter midpoint which translates as:

Publicity, popularity, the world view, unbounded enthusiasm.

Woo hoooooo!!! Some of that has started already. Monday night I went to Carnegie Hall and got the autograph of one of the greatest hit songwriter of our era and I am a songwriter so it made me happy to the extreme.

Enjoy your wealthy time, you look good dripping in jewels!!

Woooooooooow that's SO COOL! I do feel like I have a really supercharged energy for attracting what I want/manifesting my desires... thanks for telling me about running the chart, that's such an amazing idea!

I'm so excited about this feeling and now having it confirmed by you. Woohoo! Looks like this is an awesome time for both of us and we should enjoy it!

Oooh I just realised I have Jupiter opposite Pluto natally.

hehe who cares about fatness when you feel this good? I'm going to visualise myself looking good and healthy, so even if I gain a little weight it won't be a bad thing!

You have a Jupiter-Pluto opposition natally???!!!!

Then you are correct, say hello to wealth for the rest of your life, young lady. I'm so jealous. I have a wide sextile of Jupiter-Pluto natally, it's a 7 degree orb, but I really try to work that sucker and who knows. At least I have a Jupiter-Uranus sextile within orb and that's a good luck aspect. I also have an exact square of Sun-Jupiter natally. I try to live in that thing. That's Santa Claus, big time. But man oh man, to have a Jupiter-Pluto aspect stronger than a wide sextile, that's the stuff of Gods. Congratulations to you!!

OMG, thanks for telling me that! My bf looked at my chart once and said the Jupiter-Pluto opposition was bad. And I'm nervous of hard aspects. Sounds like your aspects are pretty d*mn awesome regardless! With your good luck, knowing how to work with your energies, AND knowing how to visualise, it's easier for you than it is for most people! You're over halfway there without even doing anything.

If you don't have one already, get yourself a citrine crystal! Charge it and keep it either in your wallet or in the wealth corner of your room.

Thanks for that advice. I have one about 100 miles away and don't have access to it, but I'll find one somewhere here in the city. I love citrine stones. I'll start tracking one down.

And if I was to have an opposition, I'd rather it be Jupiter-Pluto or Jupiter-Sun any day. I'm sure there are some negatives, which I'll rename "stresses" that come along with it, but heck, maybe the money will ease some of that stress lol!!

I also know that my Sun-Jupiter square indicates stress in certain areas of my life, but I choose to think of it has Santa going overboard sometimes, and when you really dissect what would happen when Santa goes overboard, I'm sure some issues pop up, but I don't want to think about them, especially while Pluto and Jupiter are trining my Sun now. I just wanna party while I can.

Hmm, interesting! Santa's way of helping me so far is by putting me in jobs I don't enjoy so I can get good money... I read that in an interpretation of Jupiter opposite Pluto once, sticking to jobs I don't like purely for money reasons. That's where I'm at right now unfortunately! So that's a definite stress for me, but like you said there's the up side.

I've thought for a while that writing a letter to Santa is like making a magickal intent! I even thought of writing to Santa this year myself, even though I'm 32.
