Topic: shy libras..is there a possibility for that?

We always hear Libras are chatty, curious and outgoing sorts and that's how I exactly found my this Libra friend. He is a sweetheart and I & him just click very well as friends.  Recently he persuded me that we have a voice conversation (needless to say he is an internet friend). I am usually shy so it took me some time to agree  So we tried that. I expected him to be quite the same as he was during IMs but to my surpize he was just so quiet that he almost refused to say a word and it was me, the shy girl, who was doing all the talking. He managed to say only 2/3 sentences in whole and kept excusing himself in IM saying "oh I am very very shy" "oh I am acting so stupid" blablablaWell what you have got to say? Could it be a Libra characteristic? Are there also shy sorts out there among them? Or what makes a Libra go shy? A few days back he said that he has bought a calling card to make a call to me. Now I am wondering that how my this shy Libra friend is going to act this time?!  IP: Logged |

 Yeah, *even* Sun-Librans can be tongue-tied sometimes
Especially if it's someone really important to us.....
I imagine he wanted to make a really great first impression on the phone, and the (self-imposed) pressure from that probably made him nervous, whereupon the mind goes ~ blank ~ ..... He likes you and doesn't want to screw it up
Perhaps from this experience he'll make up a list of things to discuss with you, so he won't feel speechless/tongue-tied next time he calls
Is his Mercury in Libra?? It depends on a LOT more than one's Sun sign.....IP: Logged |

Oh I haven't asked for his birth time.. I just know his DoB- 18 OCT 1979. Perhaps he'll tell me his birth time too  By the he is the first Libra among my friends.And it's only two months since I know him but I never felt so much at myself with anyone before, even with my best friends. My bf is a Libra and sometimes he acts very shy hihihih I love that! Azalakhs is right:it was the nervous that took his tongue inside his mouth wrapped around for so long... THat could well have happened by being the 1st time you spoke without being in the internet you know. Maybe he has a Virgo Mercury or AC? Dont worry - on our 1st date he was even more shy than me ( a Virgo Sun) but as i have the Libra AC i managed it very well Im sure you are goin to be another Libra fan! IP: Logged |

I can be completely introverted sometimes - for fear of saying the wrong thing (Sagg ASC). Perhaps being a perfectionist and wanting to impress people play a part also.------------------

I can relate to you, LibraChickety. Sometimes, I can be really shy, believe it or not (even with Leo ASC) but it's only with people who I feel are quick to judging and not likeable when you rub them the wrong way. I can adapt, though, when in a setting where I'm one of the most extroverted ones, I talk. ALOT. And when I'm in a situation where there are a lot of aggressive people, I falter. But only because I don't want to rub people the wrong way. So your friend: -either likes you (don't jump to conclusions, though)
-doesn't want to rub you the wrong way (create a conflict)
or
-has mercury in a timid sign ------------------

Hmmm.. Aste*risk you gave me quite an insight! But usually people find me communicative & friendly (perhaps my Libra moon) so I doubt my friend would think me judgemental.. Yes Diandra23, I think I have already become one I don't know his birth details yet as he is not coming online due to his work load.I can understand what you are saying LibraChickety.. in fact I am a real Virgo in that aspect and it almost ruined a very good friendship I shared with a Taurus guy. That's not a native libra characteristic (nothing ruled by Venus could be shy -- coy at best), but maybe something else in their chart points to shyness -- like cancerian or piscean ascendant for example.IP: Logged |

He could have moon conjunct ascendant like my ex who was a libra. Hed get shy too lol------------------
