Topic: Insight please (Dad's chart)

Hi everyone.  I'm wondering what you can see (especially transit or progression-wise) going on in my Dad's chart. He asked me what is going on with his stars, but i'm feeling a little blocked when i look at his chart. We reconnected this year after not having contact for over twenty years and i'm staying with him for awhile to help him out, as he is not doing well physically. Anything that jumps out at you, even if it is a simple line or two, would be greatly appreciated. Dont hold back. If it's bad news, i wont tell him. Thank you!  p.s. my Moon is conjunct his Neptune at 29* Virgo
and my Venus conjunct his Sun at 25* Gemini

just noticed my Saturn is conjunct his Chiron. ...i find that interesting.

Saturn will be coming up over the next two years to square all his natal Gemini planets in the 8th house. I guess that says it all.  Besides being an alcoholic he still smokes constantly, when because of his health issues he - especially, is REALLY not supposed to be doing so. It's jst a matter of time i guess. On a positive note, my presence in his life is helping him heal on other levels. IP: Logged |

I would have a tendency to look at the fact that his Sun in Gemini has just had Pluto in opposition for the last several years, which has caused a lot of stress and extreme challenges for him since 1995. Jupiter is now opposite his Sun and he should be able to help to make the shift once Pluto moves out of Sagittarius. Also, Mars is retrograding in Cancer right now and starting at the end of December and all through January 2008, Mars will be retrograde in gemini and will reach 23 Gemini at the end of January. He will be addressing his energy and need to re-energize from the huge depletion that has occurred since 1995 with Pluto in opposition to his Sun. It is an exhausting process, but relief will come when Pluto moves into Capricorn, January 25, 2008. IP: Logged |

Thank you Karyl. I appreciate your insight and youve brought me some clarity. Yes, i thought about the effects Pluto has had/been having on him and also noticed that Mars Rx would be contacting his Sun again in Jan. He's hoping to hang on so he can meet my brother, but that might not be able to happen for another six months or so. I'm happy to be here with him and be of assistance, something he doesnt understand because he abandoned us. He has nothing and no one and i wont let him die alone. I feel our relationship is very Plutonian - in the most positive of ways, which makes sense seeing as Pluto is transiting opposite our Sun/Venus conjunction. Thanks again. IP: Logged |

You are welcome!! I also think that with Mars in Aries in his 6th house of health, and right now Mars retrograde SQUARING it, he will feel much better when Mars moves out of retrograde (Jan 30, 2008) and out of Cancer and into Leo, which will occur in May. Then the Mercury retrograde in May/June will impact the Gemini focus (13 to 21 degrees), bringing him a chance to revise his focus, purpose and his direction. IP: Logged |

Hi 26T  Asteroid Karma is retrograding into his sixth house. This is a great time for him to reevaluate all habits that impact health. The right decisions now can improve health when Karma goes direct. Pluto and Jupiter trine Mercury should help him comprehend complex higher level knowledge.
