Okay, so I'm doing this project and I'd really like this individual's input. I sent the guy an email and have not received a response (yet), so I'm wondering if I should try again. He's an expert in his field and his input would be extremely valuable, and if I do contact him it would be somebody that I would pretty much HAVE to get along with, even if only online.

I'm told he can be quite controlling, and when I ran his chart I can see why. He's got...

*Sun conjunct Mercury in Pisces opposing Moon conjunct Chiron in Virgo.

*These are squared by a tight Mars/Saturn conjunction in Gemini, with the Moon & Mercury also being squared by Uranus in Gemini (Uranus does not aspect the Mars/Saturn conjunction or the Sun by degree...the orbs are too wide).

*Pluto exactly conjuncts North Node in Leo and semisquares Mars/Saturn and trines Uranus.

*Venus in Aquarius is opposite Jupiter in Leo and trines Mars/Saturn also to the degree.

*Jupiter quincunxes the Pisces Sun to the degree (almost to the minute) as well.

If it weren't so important I probably wouldn't bother, but his input really would be that valuable in this situation. So could anyone help shed some light on this guy and what the best way to approach him might be? Pretty please?

Hi Temperance,

My "opinion" is not to bother the guy.

I don't know what your time table is on any of this such as when you contacted him. Was it yesterday or 1 month ago? Did you send it to the correct e-mail address?

He is NOT obligated to help you. Trust that he received your e-mail and give him time to respond. He may not be available to respond to you.

I hope your whole project is not dependent upon his support. There's a difference between "It would be nice to have his input" and "My project goes down the drain without his input."

Do what you can with what you've got.

He seems to have a lot of Mutable, right? That means he probably scatters his energy amongst a lot of things. It also means that he likes to be of service as well. My opinion is to just try again. He may have seen your first request and wanted to help you, but got side-tracked doing other things and forgot. I'd keep trying.

(I don't think "controlling" would be the word for him, either. I'm guessing that he may just enjoy a certain amount of precision in his dealings with people.)

Thanks for the responses!

The project I'm working on is just fine without this guy's input, although it would be extremely valuable to have. And of course he is not obligated to help at all and I wouldn't expect otherwise (and I really do hope that's not the impression I gave; if so, then it certainly was not intentional.)

I tried to contact him several weeks ago with no luck, and ran his chart on a whim. Assuming his birth info is correct it would seem to be somewhat contradictory to someone who's been described as friendly, helpful, and liking the recognition, although he has also been described as someone who likes to maintain control. The person who recommended him was also a little surprised that I haven't heard back from the guy, as it was thought that he would have taken a strong interest in what I've been doing.

Then again maybe transiting Saturn in Virgo has put a damper on whatever enthusiasm he may have had. I didn't think about that when I originally posted.

Again, many thanks for the responses. They are certainly much appreciated!
