I recently read about this somewhere but can't seem to find much information on it. I also can't seem to find it in the Lindaland archives.

Can anyone enlighten me about the 6-8 pattern? What is it? What does it mean?

Linda Goodman (in "Love Signs") wrote about Sun Sign relationship patterns and their attributes. The 6-8 is a quincunx aspect (signs only -- not orb). The rest are.....

1-1 is the conjunct Suns (same sign)
2-12 is the semi-sextile
3-11 is the sextile
4-10 is the square
5-9 is the trine
6-8 is the quincunx
7-7 is the opposition
