(Edit: This is not a dirty thread, regardless of whether the title made you snicker.  )Have you noticed an astrological pattern with people you find it the easiest to open up to? My SO has his Moon in my 3rd house, and right from the start, I found it natural to share all my thoughts and feelings with him. I felt compelled to be completely authentic with him, even when doing so made me feel vulnerable. Natally I have a Moon-Mercury square, so I'm thinking that he may be helping me reconcile that by bringing his Moon to my 3rd house, uniting the Mind and the Emotions, in a way. How about you? Whats your placements out of curiousity?
I open up to Geminis and Virgos very easily...also Aries sometimes...Aquarians when there is chemistry(very easy to be myself around them)...

I find it rather easy to talk about my feelings with people whose chart somehow connects with my Ascendant ... like a Pisces Moon or strong Virgo placements. I also have an easy connection with people whose Mercury is in Sagittarius (which is where my own Mercury is). ------------------

Hi Jane  I agree with SagSUn - mostly when someone aspects tightly my AC or when has a sun or ac in my ac sign/Sun sign. With 3 of my best friends it happens that. But im very hard to be open with someone ( Mercury in 12th and Moon in 8th..) Obviously,with my Jonnhy it is very funny how we " comunicate" - we have our Mercury´s in the same sign.
His Psyche tightly conj my AC;SUn and Merc conj my AC.
Our AC´s are quindecile and his SUn/Venus fall on my 12th - which are placements knowned for a physic conection.
My Mercury falls on his 3rd house (where his Fiducia is ) So,even if i dont "comunicate" with words,he somehow knows how i am and what i want to say but cant easily tell IP: Logged |

I probably get on best with the air signs - we can talk all night about all sorts of things! I'm air influenced myself, so chatter is is always high on the agenda, but in typical air fashion, it rarely goes too deep. Sometimes it does though. If I really want to open up to someone, it tends to be too my fellow earth signs - especially bulls like myself. There's a good, ready made understanding already there. I'm also surrounded by water mooners in my life so I'm assuming that I naturally open up to those folk too!!! IP: Logged |

great thought provoking thread  For me it's easy to open up with someone who has Taurus Rising.
I have the Moon and Venus in Taurus.
Usually my Moon will fall in their 12th house (suggesting a karmic link) and my Venus will fall in their 1st house which is their chart ruler. Communication is usually effortless. IP: Logged |

HMMM..well my top three BEST friends of my life with whom i was extremely comfortable and close were all taurus moons like me (before i even knew about astrology!), so there is that kind of opening up that is like a comfort thing. and there is something about fellow air signs.. we can talk and talk and talk, but that is more of a surface comfort, not an easy, relaxed openness, if you know what i mean. yeah, i would have to go with fellow taurus moons. there is just some sort of understanding with them that i've never had with others. it's easy and comfortable, which lays the foundation for trust, and thus, intimacy and openness. i wonder if most people feel this way about fellow moon signs? Taureans!  I love them. I haven't met one I didn't INSTANTLY feel I could be 100% myself with. But I'm a Cancer with a Taurus moon and mars so I guess it makes sense. IP: Logged |

I rarely open up to others. I think I open up best, though, to Virgo suns, Cancer suns, and other Sagittarian moons ------------------

Hi Jane,I open up to aries (my 12th house cusp) and Taureans (my AC). My saturn in in both of those houses...I guess that's why. ------------------

Virgo Moons and Suns.My moon is in Virgo. Also Cancers, Scorpios and Sagittarians usually. People I have a hard time opening up to are Capricorns - Suns and Moons.
