I have alot of few placements that indicate that I am attractive to the opposite sex and very popoular but the thing is..... I'm not. I've never had a bf or even was in a situation where i was kinda talking to a guy. The whole popularity thing makes my laugh cuz in elementary and middle school I was the weird girl in the corner that the kids threw food at, they pulled my pants down, and wouldnt evn say my name they just referred to me as ugly (and the sad thing is I would answerlol)
the aspects are:
venus in 5th house
venus conjuct uranus and saturn
venus sextile mars
venus in sag
moon trine jupiter
sun conjunct moon
btw i have a cappy sun and moon maybe that explains that awkward look and depressing child (I have an aries momma btw you can just imagine)
Do you think all this stuff will kick in later or did my mother lie to me about my bday

Did you never hear the story of the Ugly Duckling who turned into a beautiful swan, Miss Waterlily?

Capricorn is a sign that is meant to improve upon maturity.

Just one sample commentator on this theme:

"... in a relationship, Capricorn is a slow starter, but proves to be an explosive performer and a long-lasting and loyal companion. You are quite skilled with people, once you overcome your initial reserve. Painfully shy as a youngster, you grow out of this as you approach middle age, when your careful cultivation of social skills and control begins to bear fruit. ..."

My school days are long ago, but I remember getting various nasty name calling along the lines of "skinny", "scraggy" and offensive things relating the current global famine crisis. Seems silly now with the current size zero obsession.

Hello, Waterlily

You have Moon and Sun ruled by Saturn, plus a Venus/Saturn aspect… and with Saturn it takes time, so, yes, I think your Venus can and will shine, but she needs your help with that...

I think you might find Liz Greene’s book ‘Saturn – A New Look at an Old Devil’ helpful. Here’s an excerpt:

quote:
It may seem that in light of the psychological convolutions which generally accompany Venus-Saturn contacts, there is little positive to be said for them. But the rule seems generally to be, at least with Saturn, that his benefits are in direct proportion to the amount of pain he can engender. The individual with a Venus-Saturn aspect, particularly with the conjunction, square, or opposition, has his work cut out for him. This can unquestionably be a very distressing aspect, particularly to a person who is sensitive or romantic by nature. If he is willing to take an honest look at the motives within himself which have helped to create the patterns of disappointment which he experiences, he can learn a tremendous amount not only about himself but about the nature of love and the nature of relationships.

Sending you a hug,
Sprout.

Hi Waterlily,

No, your mother didn't lie to you about your birthday. The placements you mentioned do suggest some of the situations you mentioned. I see from your profile that you are into esoteric type things, have you ever had a professional psychic reading or professional astrological consultation? It just that it seems there is a world of issues under those measurements, even though I haven't seen your chart.

One thing does stand out that you might want to know about the Venus-Saturn-Uranus conjunction, Saturn on Venus does suggest a control factor placed on relationships, socializing, social issues, possibly not letting your beauty shine for any number of reasons. The Sun-Moon in Capricorn also reflects a high focus on relationships and possibly replacing them with workaholism.

With Uranus in that conjunction mix, you will break away from the old to get to the new somehow in that respect. There's a theme of moving to the avante garde, and the new always wins out, that's how the universe works.

I am a professional astrologer and if you are interested, please contact me at geocosmicvalentine@yahoo.com

It would be nice to know how old you are, also, that can make a difference in looking at this situation.

Good luck to you, especially as Jupiter is about to go through your sign. Yaaaay!!

Well, Geocosmic Valentine summed it up nicely:

quote:
… Saturn on Venus does suggest a control factor placed on relationships, socializing, social issues, possibly not letting your beauty shine for any number of reasons.

Changes usually don’t just happen of their own accord. They require work.
The premise here is, that when you have certain beliefs and a certain perception of yourself (for example, you see yourself as a girl who has never been popular in school) things will adapt themselves to that. Well, they don’t really adapt, you just tend to attract, see and focus on things that confirm your beliefs and you overlook or dismiss the ones that don't.

If you don’t like what’s happening to you, then you need first to examine your modus operandi and find out how you may be helping this things to happen and why. And after that you can consciously change your attitude and perception of yourself in order to attract more positive experiences.

I know this may sound a little oversimplified, I’m sorry, I’m still learning how to change my own not-so-good beliefs, and, therefore, I may not be the right person to give you advice. But there's a lot of learning material that can help you better understand the nature of things and learn how to attract things and relationships that you want to attract…. For example, I would suggest films like 'What the Bleep Do We Know' and ‘Secret’ as a starting point.

I think Venus-Saturn-Uranus in 5th house (self expression, hobbies… IS a very good potential.

My guess is that your Sun is in your 4th house. I know a Libra who has his Sun widely conjunct Saturn in 4th and majority of his other planets, including Venus, in his 5th house. He expresses himself through his hobby (photography) and he's very good at it, too.

quote:
The combination can give a great capacity to appreciate artistic works. The Venus-Saturn character has depth and structure, and therefore will not just be swayed by superficial likes and dislikes. The person has taste and can discern true refinement from superficial, kitsch forms of art.

… and…

quote:
Uranus being the planet of inspirational flashes and even genius, the association with Venus can result in outpourings of creativity. Especially in a conjunction or an opposition, it can be amazingly original. The native has what it takes to bring genuine innovations in artistic disciplines, or in whatever fields he/she applies his/her creative talents to.
