How do you express yourself when in love? Do you like to hold hands? What kind of women do you like? What is the best moon & sun combination for you? What gifts do you buy for your partners on Valentine's Day, Birthdays, Christmas, etcera?
How long does it take you to open up to her? ANd what is your sun and venus sign? Hehe...lots of questions, I know.
I want a capricorn moon man to take interest in me. He is a Leo. He acts like one too, but with friends. But to me it seems he is guarded and protective of himself. Any thoughts?

Should I say double dose of egotism? cappy moons, stay away....can u handle a leo's drama? that's something u should ask urself. i had to deal w/ a cappy moon w/ libra sun and I wanted to kill him......just imagine the insanity that the leo part would do to u

Btw, i'm a leo moon and venus, so don't think i'm hating on leos, nor do i hate cappys...I have my share of both signs as friends......i just can't stand cappy moons

like i said, can u deal w/ that combo? i'm sure others can help u out w/ ur decision...

Hi Miss82,

I'm not a male, but I am a cap moon female. And I'll do my best to answer your questions.

1. How do you express yourself when in love?
Oddly enough I've never been in love with any guys other than the one's whom I've ended up having a composite cap moon with (so that meant they were sag moons...which of course is the TOTAL opposite of a cap moon). Usually when I'm in love I'm very emotional...but I think that's because I have my moon square pluto...I also happen to really want a relationship to be proper, and official.

Do you like to hold hands?
I actually don't like to hold hands in public...I usually reserve all affection for private places.

What kind of women do you like?
I'm not a man lol

What is the best moon & sun combination for you?
I'd have to say the best sun and moon combos for me would have to be a guy with taurus, cancer, or scorpio. I'd even take a guy with aquarius placements.

What gifts do you buy for your partners on Valentine's Day, Birthdays, Christmas, etcera?
I'm really big on buying clothing, or cologne. I'm pretty old fashioned with my buying habits for guys.

How long does it take you to open up to her?
Well it does take me a long time to open up...actually a very very long time. In fact the thing you said about him acting like a leo with friends and a cap with you...is how ppl with cap/saturn placements usually are. No one sees our vulnerable selves and private side unless were intimate with them.

what is your sun and venus sign?
My sun is in cancer and my venus is in taurus.

If true, let him know that you're trustworthy and that you think very highly of him. He'd probably be more likely to let his guard down if you established those two things. Then his Venus sign would tell you more about what he's attracted to romantically/sexually.

Hi Miss82,

Most of the Capricorn moons I know (OK...all of the ones I know personally) are very goal oriented.

They already have a plan, and usually this plan will be number one.

The way to see if a relationship will work is if you fit into "the plan." If you don't, save your money on gifts. They might appreciate them, but it won't sway them to date you.

Of the ones that I know, the first was a Taurus sun. He thought we'd be married because I "fit the mold." He didn't see why cheating on your mate should change the plan...LOL. Well...moving right along...

Gemini Sun/Cap Moon. Very standoffish, until you ignored him...then he would do anything to become the center of attention. We had a bit of a crush on eachother, but nothing serious. Most of my other friends didn't like him because he came across as a hard a$$. (I thought he was funny.) Became a police officer and didn't date anyone seriously until he was established in his job, then got married shortly after.

Number three...Libra Sun/Cap Moon. Talk about a life/career plan! He was in a relationship that he wasn't thrilled with. She was very successful (but just a step behind him, of course) in the same field. She fit the mold, so he married her. He cheats on her left and right. Sad, huh?

I'm not saying that all Cap moons cheat. I have a dear Virgo/Cap friend who is the epitome of honesty. He's also very fatherly...even in relationships. Had to find a girl that liked that kind of thing and was willing to marry someone in a very risky career (swat team stuff). It took him forever, but he did.

My guess, which is a total gamble (don't kill me, Zala ) is that a Leo sun/Cap moon will have a plan with himself in the spotlight somehow. Do you know what his career aspirations are?

One (and only one) example...you will either fit the trophy wife/movie star girlfriend description or you won't.

Waterlily is right. Unless he has some strong emotional placements, it's based on an image that is practical in his mind...not solely on romance, so it depends on what you're after.

I know a Cap Moon/Virgo Sun guy.
Sweetest, most caring thing on earth.
Reserved, shy, extremely observant, very goal-oriented but doesn't show it off, quite fatherly, loves his family, goes for the older ladies and boobs [LOL - blame his Venus in Cancer]

Aries women are scared of him though hehe

Thank You very much all!
I found out his moon is sqaured Mars, Saturn, Jupiter & Pluto!!!!! Is that why I can never get throght to him?
mars446: you said somethig very interesting. can i handle it? i think i can because he is worth it i think.
eighth moon: it is so true! i asked him what he thinks most of the time he said, "gettting a better job, buying a home etcera." so he has a 'plan.' he is a cook so i don't know his career aspirations...i know he is proud of his job and always says how good of a cook he is (Leo sun). I am for sure not the best looking girl he knows. Maybe you are right Eighth Moon. Maybe he has his 'dream girl' in his mind. And I don't fit in!!!! Maybe he looking for a glamorous girl. WHo wears expensive clothes and lots of makeup! Which I am the total opposite.:-(

his venus is in virgo!

Well... I do know a cap moon/ scorp sun... I used to think he was really deep, strange in a way, with his own weird interests (I think I liked him allot for daring or even wanting to be a bit different - I'm aqua sun). I had a crush on him forever=/ well never mind that, I do think him somewhat shallow now. The girls that I've seen him show interest towards have been kind of... POPULAR, pretty, shallow, big-breasted... All looks and no personality. Very extroverted girls, you could say. Girls that are pretty and know it.

Oh. And if they lost weight, he'd immediately notice. Also he told me once that this girl (one of his best friends) wasn't very skinny/ thin. She was just "normal". Which really puzzled me, because... She's like a super-athlete, REALLY tall and yes she IS skinny. I mean c'mon. She's a professional athlete in high-jumps in particular. Are any of them anything but skinny?

Oh sorry I know i sound super-pessimistic, but I just found out I don't like him much anymore. And I think he's about the only cappy moon I know, but there is he anyways.

oh no wait a minute! My best friend is actually a cappy moon... How could I forget? Ouch well that one doesn't help the situation either though. I swear I love her to death, but I'm glad I'm her friend and not her boyfriend to put it that way. She is kind of shallow when it comes to love. (She's cancer sun) Her current boyfriend she's been with a year now. They chatted (for about 2 weeks) online before meeting up, and even before she met him she decided he was going to be her boyfriend. 1. she wanted a boyfriend since it's cool. 2. she wanted him because he was 1.older, 2. not as rich 3. not as good looking. She's never been in love with him, but thinks having a boyfriend is "nice". When she finds someone better, she'll take him instead.

It's all sweet words and lies. I wouldn't trust these people too much even if I was emotionally involved... =/

Some 'cookbook' astrology for y'all

quote:
A man with the Moon in Capricorn goes for a darker complexion, dark-haired women of a serious and even melancholic expression; he also likes older women…

Venus in Virgo provides special liking for sexy belly button, fine tummy and ordinary clothes…

Don't forget about the planet. aspects.

His moon sqs saturn and has a venus in virgo? Oh boy, ur in for a patience marathon (on ur part, that is)

I have moon sq saturn, and I hate it. the guy i told u about had venus in virgo, and that didn't make things better. he was shallow too......"girl has to be pretty"

honestly, don't trust this guy until he pours his heart out to u...and even then, u shouldn't take him seriously, b/c as u can c, cappy moons calculate then act, rather than act b/c it's human to do so...sweet words and lies...that's so true rainbow, so true.

can u post a chart? for me, planets r enough, but the peeps who are experts would need the degrees and all that intricate stuff.

***PS either he has mars, saturn, jupiter, and pluto in libra or aries, which one is it?

LOL Care to tell more?

i know (or have dated) some of that combination. complicated, very sure with their opinions (lot more than other Libras i know), want contradictory things (like be pretty, sweet AND successful), like success, don't take orders gladly (even in situations where it is a must). can keep their cool under any amount of stress. charming pokerfaces - if you don't pick up what is under the surface, their decisions might look like spontaneous (which they never are). due to my own unfortunate chart, i go with them like moth to flame

sorry for the late reply...i wasn't feeling well.

the guy i wanted to, and still want to kill is b/c he thrived on trying to attract girls and making them think he likes them, and when they confess their feelings, he tells them he was never interested.

unfortunately he got the whole package- handsome, successful, athletic, he's got everything, and knooooooows it, so he uses it to his advantage. many grls cried b/c of his treatment.

u'd truly think he cares for the person in front of him, but it turns out everything he does is calculated to his advantage, he doesn't care about anyone else. that's why i caution ppl from getting anywhere near a cappy moon, it's the worst placement for the moon to be in along w/ libra moon....although i encountered only one, but once u get the nastiest flu, it's bound never to come back to u again (at least i've been flu free for a few years now)

ok my turn :P

leo male, cappy moon. though with venus in cancer.

How do you express yourself when in love?
i'm kinda reserved... if i feel i can joke with you then yeah, you're kinda in.

Do you like to hold hands?
yep. anywhere, i don't mind.
just trying to show off that you're doing it though.. ugh. i hate that :P

What kind of women do you like?
the aries thing of course...can't ignore that. though the air women i can always have a yap to. however after all this time, i find myself drawn to earth women more often than not...air women with earth placements seem to float ya olde boat too.

What is the best moon & sun combination for you?
i tried with an aries/cappy moon girl but it didn't really work so well. challenging house placements didn't help. never the less i really like her but it's almost uncomfortable to be around her at time.

What gifts do you buy for your partners on Valentine's Day, Birthdays, Christmas, etcera?
things they can use and hopefuly keep using...

How long does it take you to open up to her?
oh... some air will hurry it all along, otherwise it isn't usually too quickly.
once open though.. boom!

I'll answer for me and my ex.

How do you express yourself when in love?

Him: physically, through body language more so than words.
Me: The same.

Do you like to hold hands?

Him: Yes.
Me: Not really, but I don't mind.

What kind of women do you like?

Him: Intelligent, good conversationalists, reliable, mature.
Me: similar (in men) but I'd add - good sense of humor and affectionate.

What is the best moon & sun combination for you?

Him: Gemini/Pisces
Me: Sagittarius/Aries

so far..

What gifts do you buy for your partners on Valentine's Day, Birthdays, Christmas, etcera?

Him:
Valentines - Nothing. Thought it was overrated but changed his mind when he realized I kind of expected something.

Birthdays - Very thoughtful. Always bought me loads of stuff I really liked - astrology/numerology related and others.

Christmas - Same as birthdays.

Me -

I like buying everyone presents whenever there is an occasion to do so. Usually I'd buy something I know the person likes.. something they mentioned in conversation or whilst shopping with me.

How long does it take you to open up to her?

Him: a few months.
Me: longer than months - maybe even years.

ANd what is your sun and venus sign?

Him: Libra Sun/Libra Venus
Me: Aries Sun/Aries Venus

A few people mentioned egoism. I am very self confident but not egotistical. He had low self-esteem.

Hey, yes I have a Cappy moon. I can be talkative with friends because I also have a Pisces Mercury very closely sextile my Moon (and Gemini Asc). I'm pretty open about feelings once I know someone.. but there are a lot of things I keep private. I'll talk about surface things, not so much deep or serious things - to friends.

I do say happy birthday and usually start singing "go go go shawty it's your birthday, we're gonna party like.. it's your birthday"
Not sure why, but I'm addicted to that song.. Whenever it's someone's birthday I'll start humming it LOL I think people find it annoying

quote:
never heard it from her own mouth..but she says it easily to other friends

hmm I wonder if she noticed that she does this. What are your Sun/Moon/Asc?

Oh my! There are some rather nasty Cappy Moon males out there. But there are some good ones too, and seeing as how I'm in love with one and friends with two others, I guess I should defend this Moon placement's honor.

Other people have answered your original questions, so I'm just going to point out what I find attractive about this placement, since other posts may have you terrified of getting to know this guy better.

Maybe it's b/c I have my Venus in Cap, but I find the Cappy Moon man's ambition and commitment to his plans very attractive. It tells me that he perceives himself as the author of his own destiny. He understands that time is ticking away for us all and you've gotta get your butt out there and build the life you want b/c nobody is going to hand it to you. For me, it's that sense of responsibility for bringing his own dreams to fruition that makes a guy go from a boy to a desirable man. And I mean very desirable, in the makes me wanna drop on all fours and give an inviting wiggle kind of desirable. I can't be the only one?

They have a deadpan humor about life's hardships and constraints. Their humor amuses me b/c it's funny and soothes me b/c it tells me they're perceptive and can see all the meanness of life but still move through it.

They're also very reasonable. A practical management of emotions is what makes them able to transcend their immediate, purely emotional reaction and choose the best course of action for the long-term. This helps them endure through hard times, whether in their career, their personal relationships, or just through the general frustrations one encounters during the course of a day.

The Cappy Moons I know are good-hearted, very funny, and have a realistic/leaning toward pessimistic attitude about love. What I love most about them is how real they are and how much they value sincerity. If they seem like Machiavellian phonies, it's b/c they can so easily see the phoniness and egoism of others. So some probably figure, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. But the good ones aren't like that, but are instead continuously quietly disappointed by those traits in others and on guard against them. They feel blessed when they meet someone who truly isn't like that either.

In general, I think a man with Moon in Cap would like a woman who makes it obvious that she admires and likes him, but at the same time, doesn't kiss his butt. Think 70% sincerely warm/30% friendly roasting. In other words, he wants to be the daddy (looked up to), but he also wants you to be the gently critical mommy, or else he'll think you're blind to who he really is. And if you're blind to who he really is, not only are you a dummy , but you're not really in love with him, just with that perfect, charming, calm, cool & collected image of himself that he feels the need to show to the world.

Jane- I agree that there are very admirable traits with Cappy moons, but they definatly can be cruel even sadistic if you make them FEEL you are trying to control them or mess up their perfect plan with their life. I think I had experienced the worst of the worst.

My daughter's father is a cap sun and moon. He has those wonderful traits that you mentioned that I fell in love with and all went well, even though he confused me at times, when he was the daddy and I was the gentle critical mommy as you said until I got pregnant with our daughter.

He has fought me the whole way, doesn't want the responsibility because he is not ready to be a father and recently when I filed for child support, I think I saw the devil come out of him because he has been working for his company for nearly ten years and is more worried about money than anything. It is really sad because I don't understand where that man I knew before has gone. I just would advise anyone who is involved or in love with this combo or a cap moon period to be really cautious. I am not speaking for all, but I think I should share because I do not want anyone to go through the same thing.

twentytwenty: do your girls have to be like super social and outgoing and very pretty to get your attention?
when i think of a male leo with cap moon, like my crush, i think of a girl like Paris Hilton on their arm. pretty, outgoing, high social status.
I am more like Helena Bonham Carter, intense, quiet, and dark yet funny :-)
