Good perspective you have on this relationship, and I'd expect no less from a smart Aquarius girl.  Still, I hope this relationship develops further, if for no other reason than you getting to know the thrill of a Mars-Sun conjunction in the flesh. The picture on the synastry chart just doesn't do the experience justice.I had that aspect with an ex. I was the Mars. We also had his Mars conjunct my Pluto (my chart ruler). The sexual attraction was extremely strong, to the point that we behaved in some uncharacteristic ways for both of us. For me, things started to cool down b/c I wasn't emotionally satisfied. He was and still is a great guy and I consider him one of the best friends I've ever had, but I got tired of the panic I'd see in his Aqua Moon eyes whenever I discussed feelings.  IP: Logged |

what about one person's sun and mars conjunction in exact opposition to the other person's mars? would you say the intensity factor is pretty close and maybe similar, or is it a whole different animal? i'm thinking maybe there's more of a tension, but a rather sexual one most of the time and with the sun opposing mars, it could really add to the intrigue.. i dunno. i think oppositions are inherently sexy, but maybe that's just me. oh and if anyone has any ideas on this, do you think it would be the mars/sun who would be more into it, or the mars person?hey venus de milo! don't give up!! i'm like you though.. we have that dang venus conjunct neptune (though yours are exactly conjunct, my venus-neptune midpoint is my asc so i feel the energy pretty potently even though the orb is 10 deg).. so i know it's like we're always questioning everything cuz we tend to really see through to the spirit and love nature of a person.. and then it's hard to gague whether the feeling is mutual, or if the other layers are compatible, etc, etc. do you relate? also i think just the aquarius thing means that you totally can't read into his behaviour at all.. he could be being weird and aloof for SO many strange and nonsensical reasons.. just give it time. it's GREAT though that this has given you a whole new optimism about your future!! i love when that happens! sounds like the meeting was very good for you, and whether it turns into more with HIM or not, it's opened up something in you that will let that energy in again! so it's win/win, no matter which way it goes!!

really cranky ,
u didnt take offense at my advice on SU.
i m so relieved.
i thought i had been too frank.venus.
after that pisces saga i have no appetite for like tragedies involving u or any the girl on the board. atleast u got out this time before being hurt  pidaua my god ur take on sun- mars and pluto aspects is scary, but attractive to my Pluto in the eighth house

venus ... LOL... so that is what makes you post links to "sleazy" threads (I am being tongue in cheek- I enjoy debating with you). Pluto in the 8th house huh? Jane... I haven't heard from him. I might sound kooky, but I really think he's afraid... typical Aquarian... and who knows? Maybe he's been hurt really badly in the past? But I think he's afraid, he lives a very free-spirited life by his own description and relationships probably freak him out. Everything he was telling me about himself was all his adventures with him and his brother. He probably doesn't have or want to make room in his life for a woman. Of course, I'm an Aqua too, with Mars in Aqua, Venus in Sag and with Uranus a singleton twice over... so all that was obviously very attractive to meeee!!!!  I'm OK with it, or at least trying to be as practical and pragmatic about it as possible. But it's disappointing because it's so rare to meet someone you instantly feel that magical chemistry with, on every level... physical, mental, emotional... etc. I thought he was really great. The funny thing is, I got this in my email about Ike and Tina Turner... apparently his Mars was conjunct her Sun... but they also had Mars square Mars in Synastry... lot sof Mars interaction in their synastry... big surprise, eh?
