Astrology Weekly and Cafe Astrology are two good websites to take a look at if you feel like exploring the subject.

At a superficial glance I notice there is some interesting energy going on between these charts.

Your boyf has the Sun (sense of self) opposite the Moon (instinctive reactions, emotions) both square Saturn (sense of duty). This suggests some tension in his personality where he might be quite self-restrained.

You have Mars (energy, vitality, sex drive) conjunct Pluto (compulsion, subconscious drive), both in Scorpio and overall a powerful combination. It joins his Saturn at the head of the T-Square - so right where he has the tension mentioned above, you hit him with your intensity.

This a testing influence, but then those are often the ones that give relationships a bit of spark, and the meaning that makes them worthwhile.

One of the reasons I spotted it is because my husband has Saturn conjunct my Mars. It can be a drag, but also acts as a boot up the rear.
