i know quiet a bit about them, my father is one and a few close friends but
the quieter types?
any insights? or anything that is not in the usual sun sign description? (i know it is a lot more that just the sun sign but that is all the information i have)
any input is appriciated!

I dated a quiet Aries guy..he was very soft spoken, "sweet", cute, etc..in other words: a total turn off for me. How disappointing..lol

He has Moon in Capricorn, Mercury in Pisces, Mars in Taurus..and it is probably this combo that made him less like a typical Aries. More grounded, and subtle.

My dad is also an Aries, another ex bf Aries, and a couple friends..and all of THEM are aggressive, exciting, fiery, etc.

The quieter types spend huge amounts of time in silent thought. This is usually due to having Pisces Mercury. They have a very vivid imagination so it's easy to drift down memory lane.

If you have a water or earth Mercury yourself.. you should get along just fine with them.

Funny...I have a fire Mercury ..must explain why me and the quiet Aries I mentioned above were seriously lacking in effective, interesting conversation.

i'm an aries girl, and i've had lots of experiences with aries men.
i find the ones who aren't too aggressive just a little in the middle between loud and mellow, i find them very attractive physically and from their personality as well.

aries men love chasing girls and feeling needed, they want to be someone's own personal superman, which i find very sweet and romantic. they would do anything for the girl they love and they can also be attracted to take-charge girls because its a different type to them. aries men usually go for the feminine types, but they will really be blown away by a girl who is just as independent and assertive as him.

Aries sun here, and I try to stay far far far away from Aries sun men. They upset my desire for balance and depth and civil exchange. If I want to have a superficial relationship, I find an Aries man. And power struggles! Geesh.

Of course, all the above applies to me at certain times. And, in complete contradiction to what I posted above, one of my greatest friends and supporters is an Aries man, but we live, oh, 10,000 miles from each other.

I curse my Scorpio moon for making me this way.

My father is the quiet Aries type. He has Cancer Moon and Mercury in Taurus. I noticed with him although he is not very socialble to new people once he gets a feel for you he cant stop talking. I think that is when his Venus in Gemini comes out. He loves children he even gets very bad kids to behave around him.

Both the fathers of my kids are Aries.
I have moon/venus/saturn/n node in an Aries stellium and finally l quit with Aries men.

Way too much grief.. I'm moving onto Leo's and Sag's

my father is the quieter type also - he has a cancer ascendant. however, he can be very outgoing once he is comfortable with someone - and also very, very moody at times! he gets mad quickly, but is quick to forget at the same time and he is extremely generous.

i don't know the birthdate of this aries man but he seems a little shy and quiet - i guess i'll just have to see and get to know him. generally speaking, i usually have a great connection with aries friends so we'll see what happens here!

My SO is an Aries (one of the milder ones, I think...moon in Taurus and venus in Pisces) and my experience is actually the opposite of many here. He was pretty aggressive at first, only a little shy about some things. Other girls had told him he's an arrogant a$$hole! lol But the more I got to know him, the more sweet and tender I found him to be. He even told me he's cried at sad movies and weddings...which I don't think a typical Aries would admit to! lol He's still kind of bossy sometimes...but I think it's cute. Man, I'm gushing over here...someone please stop me!!! lol
