5th house I think, especially nowadays (we used to treat animals as our servants = 6th house, now they are more like our children = 5th house)

I am a HUGE animal lover and have always had cats and dogs. They are incredibly special to me and I even spent a significant amount of my career working in ER veterinary hospitals as a vet tech and in vet diagnostics. We have two cats (I adopted them when they were abandoned more than 11 years ago) and I am the little keeper of animals. I can't wait until we get a real German Shepherd here from our friends breeder.

My 5th house has no planets and is ruled by Capricorn. My 6th house is rule by Aquarius and houses my Mars in Pisces.

I am a Sag (4th house) with a Virgo rising. I tend to think it has more to do with being a more rooted Saggie and having a virgo rising than anything.

I too would never give up my cats for a man. I had an ex-fiance (Taurus Sun / Rising with a Virgo moon) that treated animals like property and tried to force me to give up my cats.. anyone wonder why he is the ex? No wonder the cats puked large hairballs on his boots and where he traditionally sat on the couch

Bear loves our cats and has always loved dogs. So we're good on the whole pet page (He also has a Virgo rising and Sag rules his 4th house). We view pets as a part of our family.

The miss pictured above is also from a rescue. She was thrown out of a car when she was pregnant. All the kittens died. What's the matter with people? Couldn't they drive her to the rescue? Why dump her on the road? I don't get it.

The 12th house, Pisces and Jupiter rule large animals.

I have Virgo on the 5th with Pluto and Uranus in that house. Also I have Libra on the 6th with a Lunar/Neptune conjunction in Scorpio in the 6th house.

My pets are my children, and I have had a huge emotional/sympathetic connection with all of them. I think more of them, than most humans. lol!
