Has anyone else been there? What do you think of it, and can you explain to me how this works- why they say that it isn't your true sun sign?

It says I'm really a virgo. Well, I am a perfectionist... but I still say that I'm a scorpio.

I went to the site and it says I'm a capricorn. That's cool and I can see it. I have some capricorn traits.

It tells you as you fill out the form, look above the email fill out form and it says what your sign is.

It says i'm a Sagittarius. Well, that sure fits but my moon & mercury are in Sag., so that's really why it fits

It says I'm a Gemini. I have zero air signs in my chart and don't see much of myself that I would describe as Gem-like. Interesting thought, though.

I think this is just based on the sidereal zodiac.

You can get the sidereal version of your natal, at astro.com

Everyone who posted got their "real" sign as the sign before theirs. Mine is Pisces (I'm Aries).. In the sidereal chart all of your planets go back a sign. Indian Astrology uses this chart.

It's not the Sidereal Zodiac.

Too many people confuse Sidereal Zodiac with Constellation Zodiac. They are not the same.

Sidereal Zodiac has 12 zodiac signs and all of them have equal 30 degree span.

Constellation Zodiac has 13 constellations on the ecliptic....Ophiuchus is the extra one.

Also..the constellations have an uneven span...they are not equal 30 degrees. Virgo is the largest of the zodiac constellations with Scorpio being the smallest.

That's why my Sun in Tropical Scorpio is listed as being in the constellation of Virgo. There is no possible way that a Scorpio Sun can be a Virgo Sun in Sidereal zodiac. That can only happen in the actual constellation zodiac.

That's one of the reasons,I don't even use Sidereal Zodiac because it's not completely aligned with the actual constellations.

It says my true sign is Scorpio ... I do have some Scorpio traits, but I was born on the Scorpio/Sag cusp, my sun is in the 8th house and my Moon is square Pluto.

I have my mars/venus in there...i do feel identified with some traits of it : more stubborn and little prouder than a Virgou would be isnt it :P and a lot more "coquette"
