Bridget Walther is weirdly accurate, especially if you read for your rising sign.IP: Logged |

HI. For me the best is Jonathon Cainer www.cainer.com But he has a certain 'style' some do not like. But if you do like him you will stick with him, I have read his horoscopes for over 15 years.IP: Logged |

I like astro.com's daily forecast, too. Short, sweet, to-the-point. The one run by my daily paper (whose author I can't think of at the moment—it's a nationally syndicated 'scope, though) is also typically right-on for me. I'll try to look it up later.------------------ "You stay young as long as you can learn, acquire new habits and suffer contradiction." (Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach) IP: Logged |

I agree with SattvicMoon about the accuracy of dailies. They are written for the many, and are not personalized. At best they relate themes expanded from the weekly transits. Also consider the pressure and time constraints of a daily for all 12 signs. Cainer is a master of this. The weekly format allows the writer time enough to flex his creative muscle. Some astrologers turn this format into an art form adding a depth of scope [pun intended] applied to the individual. They address world and cosmic events. [like the recent comet] Adding a spiritual flavor that can be applied to all. The best are found on sites where the astrologer also happens to be an accomplished writer. Someone mentioned Rob Brezsny --> He, in particular has exposed me to books, events, and people that I would never hear of otherwise. I wonder sometimes if he reads hundreds of periodicals and magazines every month. His 'scopes are much more than just astrology. His is a very broad vision. That is why they are so good. Here is an example from this week for Taurus: My sensitive poet friend Carson taught criminals in a penitentiary how to write haiku poems. Novelist Margaret Atwood gave a class on the absurdest writing of Franz Kafka to engineers in British Columbia. And in 2008 I'll ask you to share your gifts with people you've always assumed wouldn't be receptive to you, let alone be able to benefit from your unique talents. Get ready to push past your boundaries in the coming months, Taurus. Extend your sphere of influence and appeal to a larger audience.

SACRED ADVERTISEMENT Imagine that you have been relieved of your responsibilities for a given time. They will be taken care of by people you trust. You won't have to work to make money during this grace period, but will be given all you need. Nor will you have to clean your house, wash your clothes, or buy and make your food. Now here's the big question: What will you do now that you are free to do anything you like?
I would imagine that Cainer and the other biggies have a decent sized staff. How else could they churn out quality dailies? I guess what I'm saying is that I appreciate daily/weekly writings that are more than astrology. How often do you find yourself reading all 12 signs because of what you learn in general? Brezsny delivers. IP: Logged |

Node, I mentioned Rob Brezny. I get his weekly newsletter and love it. Horoscopes are inspirational in a weird sort of way, and his whole pronoia thing just makes me happy. I've also recently been reading astrobarry.com which I like, and someone else mentioned Jeff Prince. He's different but fairly accurate, I think.Bridgett Walther's accuracy reading the rising sign is a big yes. I'm a cancer, but when I read the leo forecast it really hits on what's going on in my life. IP: Logged |
