Via Combusta is described as:
'15 degrees Libra to 15 degrees Scorpio: This is considered to be the most malefic area of the zodiac'
Should I keep my sunglasses on at all times? - my Sun is at 16" Libra
Following that is Mercury at 17" and Venus at 28"
AND, According to some astrologers, the most dangerous section of the Via Combusta should be from 25 degrees Libra to 6 degrees Scorpio - my Venus is in here!
Anyone got any further info on this 'Burning Path', care to shed some light?

Don't buy an old air-raid shelter to hide in just yet.

From AstrologyWeekly

The combust path. As employed by the ancients this doubtless referred to a cluster of fixed stars in the early degrees of the constellation Scorpio. A birth Moon in that arc was considered to be as afflicted as if it was in an eclipse condition - at or near one of the Nodes. If so, the description would have to be revised by 1° every 70 years, to compensate for the Precessional arc. This would probably place the Via Combusta in the region occupied by Antares and opposed by Aldebaran, an arc now centering around 10° Sagittarius. A birth planet or birth Moon in that arc would thus be described "in Via Combusta." Some of the older authorities gave its location as the last half of Libra and the whole of Capricorn; others, from Libra 15° to Scorpio 15°.

My Sun is in 5'20 Scorpio, and so my Sun is in that area. My girlfriend's Moon is in 1'24 Scorpio, and so her Moon is in that area.

The Via combusta only applies to Horary..

nonetheless they say the moon is the worst planet to have in the designated range. They dont mention it in natal.. but im still skeptical.. my moon in libra 23 degrees. :/
