Any Joy Division fans here? Anyone want to talk about Ian Curtis? And his realtionship with Deborah and Annik Honore?Ian's data: July 15, 1956, Macclesfield, England.
Deborah: December 13, 1956, in Liverpool, England.
Annik: October 12, 1957 in Belgium. I did not watch the movie Control. My heart goes out to Deborah. She lost her husband and is a single mother. I have read her book "Touching from a Distance." But sometimes I feel its just her side telling a story. Very biased. Anyway since I have no time of birth his moon is either late Libra or early Scorpio. I like Joy Division. Many of the new so-called "new wave" bands (or whatever else they are labelled as today) are pale imitations of Joy Division. I'm not, however, that familiar with Ian Curtis' background, especially of his love life. What were the circustances that led to his suicide? Most accounts attribute it to depression... what does his chart say about this? Could it be the sun squaring his moon? Very simplistic explanation, I know, but perhaps this combination had something to do with it? I know a Libra sun with cancer moon who has been struggling with depression for some time now. Again, taking only the sun and moon aspect into account, and not much else (I'm still learning about astrology). Maybe the more knowledgable members of this community can provide some insight? Sun Square Moon is a sign of inner emotional conflict and could show up in depression.. I have this aspect as well except im a Sun Cancer Moon LibraIP: Logged |

The statistics I gave were based on a generic noon birth.
We don't seem to have his accurate time of birth yet, so we don't really even have houses to work with. It seems that he could have a late in the game Libra Moon on this date as well, depending on his real time of birth. -Sorry for any confusion... Nice to see you exploring about  ------------------

I am pretty sure Ian Curtis also had epilepsy and struggled with that - the song "She's lost control" i think is about that. Joy Division made some great music IP: Logged |

I'm a huge Joy Division fan and saw the movie, "Control" a few years ago. It was well written and impressive to watch. From what I've been seeing from his physical features and the way that he portrayed himself in life, my guess that he's Scorpio Rising. Seems intense and introspective. IP: Logged |
