Does anybody with Pisces in the 7H have experiences primarily dating drug abusers? Not just drugs, alcohol too. I guess we like to call them "escapists."

My mom has Pisces on the Descendant. She never dated an "escapist" ... at least not as far as I know.

BTW: It's a generalization to say that everyone with strong Pisces/Neptune is a potential alcoholic or drug addict .

I know it's a generalization, I've just noticed it in my life so wondering if others experienced the same. But they've all been good people, artists, so they're very spiritual and say it enhances their creativity and all those excuses.

In my friend's case, her bf is a musician,
while in my case, the One i love is from a far away place.

No drug or alcohol
(hopefully, never will)

And to tell another example, i have Neptune in my 4th house and square my Sun... a "typical" indicator for an alcohol or drug addict father... but in my case, its absolutely NOT true

Same here ... I have Pisces rising with Neptune square the Ascendant and a strong Neptune ... I don't do drugs (never have and never will), I don't smoke and I hardly ever drink.

My SO has Pisces Moon in the 4th square Neptune and a strong Neptune ... he doesn't take drugs and he doesn't drink and neither do his parents.

My husband has Pisces on the Descendant.

Thinking about it I have Pisces IC, but that is about it for me and the fish. Escapism, alchohol, drugs, nah, boring and sensible, that's me.

Of course I can't vouch for the personal habits of wife #1.

Hey Aquarius, do you think picses on your descendant clouds your judgement of your lovers or do you think it has to do more with the substance abuse thing in your experience.

Thanks gals!

Clouded judgement, let's go with that one.

Aside from the one time he got it right. Got to kiss a few frogs and all that.

I have Pisces Descendant
and I did get involved with females that were deceptive, had drinking problems, drug problems......one of them was a Pisces whose father owns RH Philips Winery and she rejected me for an exbf in jail.

I have the ruler of my 7th,Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd square Moon in Pisces in 6th,oppose/contraparallel 5th house ruler Saturn in Gemini in 9th,parallel Venus. So even my anima is Neptune/Piscean.

My mother is a recovering alcoholic, drug addict. She has Sun in 12th trine Neptune,Venus-Uranus square Neptune,Neptune sesquiquadrate Pisces Midheaven. Alcoholism runs strong in my mom's family. I share Saturn oppose Neptune and Moon in Pisces in common with my maternal grandfather who was alcoholic, used drugs, and committed suicide. I never knew my father because he was a drug addict, and I share Moon in Pisces with him. He had stationary retrograde Neptune.

I don't smoke, drink, nor use drugs. The same with my girlfriend. I am glad to have found her. She has Pisces Ascendant with ruler,Neptune stationary in Sagittarius, conjunct Sagittarius Midheavne, sextile Moon-Saturn in Scorpio, trine Mars in Aries in 1st.

Hey LeoCat -

I'm not sure....i had a substance abuse problem as well when i was younger- but not in the span of all those 6 men - just the first one really - i was pretty young and so was he and we both had drug addictions, although we've both moved on now. I do drink now but i do not touch any drugs and can never imagine my life going in that direction again.

I think that the pisces descendant clouds my judgement (but i also have mars and venus in pisces) so i tend to look at things very idealistically in matters of romance and with rose colored glasses - when i'm in a relationship i'm in it for the long haul no matter what obstacles come our way or if they have a problem with drugs/alcohol that has never scared me away(despite aqua sun, taurus moon and virgo rising). I have read that venus in pisces can be prone to attracting dependent types who come with their share of baggage. I am attracted to the pisces personality more than any other generally sun sign speaking.

I have neptune in the 4th as well (i forgot who mentioned this) but neither of my parents are into drugs or alcohol at all.

Wow Glaucas, that's quite a story. I have neptune in Sag 3rd House as well and Gemini in Saturn. We've got some similarities in our charts.

I heard Pisces 7H could mean looking for the perfect mate and the single life as well. All of the above describes me pretty well, except the cloudy judgement, I'm pretty good at spotting somebody I get a "weird" feeling about and I just keep them at arms length. I'll thank Pluto in 1H for that one as I can be pretty suspicious of people

AQUA: I like Pisces as well, I've found them to be beautiful people but I don't think I'll date one again.

Thanks for your input, everybody!

Pisces Descendant here,

Shy & passive grabs my attention, but ultimately they prove deceptive, & elusive.

Although the folks I have known with natal 7th in Pisces did by and large wind up married to addicts of some variety, there are, of course, other manifestations of this placement. To me, natal 7th in Pisces could also indicate a marriage or primary relationship that was incredibly limited or restricted, perhaps because a partner was much older or younger. It could also suggest a partner who was in prison when the marriage began (or possibly one that could end abruptly, via a prison sentence, sudden death, etc). Pisces being all about endings and confinements, natch.

Did you also check your sun aspects? The sun is not just indicative of the father figure, it extends to the male figures in one's life in general, as is the moon and the women in your life.

The sun aspects often give clues to the qualities we attract in the males in our lives, regardless of the nature of the relationship.

Sun conj. Neptune or opp. Neptune would attract Neptunian men (artistic at best, drug users at worst)
Sun conj. Jupiter, well read intellectuals and generous at best, pedantic retired professor-wanna-be at worst. And so on and so forth...

The same applies to the moon and women.

I noticed that the 7th house only represents the outer persona, if you have say capricorn on the 7th, most people you attract are career driven, successful, etc etc, but it doesn't say much about the other details...

Hi Neptune's Muse. It seems my sun almost exactly trines my neptune they're in the same degree, so it all makes sense I suppose, darnit all. It's the strongest aspect it makes in my chart.

I never thought about that, thanks for your help!

She's right.

That's why I mentioned about both my mother and females that I was involved with
in regards to my Moon in Pisces square Saturn-Neptune opposition. My girlfriend has strong affinity with it with her Moon-Saturn sextile stationary Neptune-Midheaven. She is a very functional Saturn-Neptune type. She's not at all messed up.

My recovering drug addict/alcoholic mother has Sun in 12th trine Neptune in 5th. Her father was an alcoholic who had history of doing drugs, and he committed suicide. He had Moon in Pisces with a stationary Saturn in Pisces oppose Neptune in Virgo. My father was a drug addict, and he was gone when I was a year and half. He had Moon in Pisces disposited by a stationary retrograde Neptune in Virgo. My mother was with her stepcousin when she was teenager and gave birth to his son that was adopted out. She ended up back together with him 24 years after they were separated. That's when she told me the truth about her having a son before me. That guy was a drug addict/dealer.
