It all started to go pear-shaped for Anakin when his mother was murdered. Then he got the obsession in his head that his wife was going to die in childbirth. She started to have trouble understanding him, he got more frustrated. His master didn't seem to understand him either. Then we know what happened.

Cruel, yes, he was from a certain perspective, but if you have had your limbs burnt off in molten lava, some personal issues are only to be expected.

As they're twins, the chances of this happening are slim.

Also...he grew up without a father...he chose the wrong person as father figure,Palpatine..he was very gullible when it came to Palpatine

I think that there was a fear of loss abandonment....and there was fear of betrayal...there was secrecy,paranoia, fear of being found out..after all,he was secretly married...he broke taboo....Jedis don't marry. They are supposed to live like monks and give up all attachments, but Anakin couldn't do that. He couldn't give up attachments. He was too old when he joined the Jedi order because he was old enough to be attached to his mother.

I feel that there was a possible Oedipus complex that he had......his wife had the same hair and eye color as his mother. That says something right there. He just seemed rather obsessed with Padme....never stopped thinking about her for 12 years until he saw her again.

I think that his story relates to Sun-Neptune and Moon-Pluto

he was impulsive too......Hayden Christiansen who played him has Sun in Aries. Jake Lloyd who played child Anakin has Sun in Pisces.

Cancer for Darth? Yes, that I could see. Leo for Leia?... Maybe. Not sure I agree with Gemini for Han. Han seems too snarky and cynical to be a Gemini to me.

Interesting fact: Alec Guinness and Ewan McGregor who play Obi-Wan are both Aries Sun/Gemini Moons.

Glaucus, of course you are right in your observations about Palpatine.

Being a bit of a Daddy's Girl, O.K, a lot of one, I never really picked up on this - why did he trust him, when he was warned he was not on the level? That kind of gives of insight.
