At first I interpretted astrologers giving it the synonym of "Leaders," but I don't find that altogether accurate. In my opinion the word that sums up the Cardinal signs is, "Initiators."

Cardinal energy is visionary, and prompts people into action on that vision.

The cardinal points of a compass are North, South, East, West -- which could very well correlate to (respectively) IC, MC, AC, DC.

Cardinal Signs:
The signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. These fall at the Cardinal Points of the Zodiac, with Aries beginning at the "Vernal Equinox" or first point of Spring, or the beginning of the Zodiac. These signs are generally associated with action and beginnings. They are also associated with initiatory and dynamic actions. See also Qualities

zala, you are so ressourceful.

augentier, totally off topic but it's not just your username which is classy. i saw some of your pics on a thread and i must say you are absolutely gorgeous. i'd like to know your chart to get why i'm so willing to see you as a princess from fairy tales. if i was a princess' knight, it would be for someone like you.

i'm no stalker, but i had to tell you my impressions. let's say it's because it's late in the uk and i'm getting wilder.

you seem so feminine, clever, poised, gracious, thoughtful, refined and sexy that you could probably make me reconsider my sexual orientation.
(i don't take much risk here considering i live on another continent)

praecipua, you are a charmer
And I *am* the resource-full Libra-rian
quote:

It probably doesn't need to be said in *this* small string quartet but obviously the cardinal compass-points East/AC would be Aries, North/IC would be Cancer, West/DC would be Libra, and South/MC would be Capricorn.....

Have you "met" BlueRoamer yet??

Augentier: Wow! That's some stellium you've got there in the 2nd. How have you felt transiting Pluto?

Have you been adversely affected by death of a parent or other family member? I ask, because of the chiron in the 8th and the ties to the 4th house and the 2nd house planets - especially the moon.

ladyNeptune: Is pluto transitting my 2nd house? *just checked astro.com* ..yep, hmm..I have been working on improving things that are very personal to me and so far so good..maybe that is Pluto at work for me.

Both my parents are still alive and healthy..no one that close to me has died (except for grandparents, when i was a kid) .. but now you're freaking me out! LOL

nothing really strike me as major indication of attraction. all i can see straight away is my pluto conjunct your south node but i don't know what it means. may be it's just my neptune squaring my venus playing tricks on me...

you just epitomise elegance to me. may be your mars in pisces...

I'm not only physically attractive, I'm also charismatic!---Go figure.....
Venus in Scorpio makes me magnetic!
