I dated a scorpio venus with cap sun, he was so jealous and took everything way too seriously & personally, they sometimes need to lighten up. A guy with Venus in Scorpio or conjunct Pluto can like dark things or he can be very light hearted and freedom orientated (if he has a moon in aqua or sag and his Venus conjunct Jupiter or Uranus�or even if he has a Libra moon). I just think you should also take into consideration that a Venus in Scorpio or Venus in whatever is not the end all of a person, and if the guy you�re dealing with is this way he probably has other placements that aid with him being dark and taboo�it�s probably not only his Venus in Scorpio that is making him the way he is. Also for instance you say you're guy is very aggressive...he could indeed have a fire ascendant, which could be why he is aggressive. I know my ex with the Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Pisces wasn't aggressive at all...after he got comfortable he was more sexually forward...but not at all agressive...and that could be because he also had a Cancer rising. And another ex I had was also a Venus in Scorpio guy...he had an Aqua Mars and Moon...he wasn't aggressive either nor willing to try taboo things (the Pisces Mars was more willing to try all taboo things)...I was WAY more aggressive than him (I have a 1st house mars). I'm just saying take the entire chart into consideration before isolating a particular aspect or placement as the main focal point. IP: Logged

In the same ways that I am HOT HOT HOT. Naturally I sense his Venus qualities as they are very similar to mine. And the biggest point I keep making: IT'S SUBJECTIVE. Jesus. That's not a subjective quote...that's a definitive statement. I do agree that Venus in Scorpio CAN be hot...just like a Venus in Taurus can be stubborn...but not EVERY single person that has it is hot. Just like not every single person who has a Aqua Sun is aloof...not every single person who has a Cancer Sun is sentimental. It appears you're making this blanket statement about a particular placement being hot; and I'm just saying that there are other mitigating forces that can make a person hot...regardless or not if they have Venus in a particular sign. And also I do think Venus in Scorpio is hot, but if that said guy has a Aries Moon or Sag rising he isn't going to be so attractive to me as a Venus in Scorpio who has a Taurus Moon or Mars in Scorpio. They think any aspect with pluto or placement with scorpio is only about sexiness and that's not it. I to have my own fair dose of pluto in my chart (asc/sun/and mars trine pluto, moon, and mercury square pluto, venus opp pluto, saturn and pluto in the 5th house, jupiter in the 8th, as well as my vertex in scorpio....and I'm interested in the occult (hence the interest in astrology), mysteries (I ADORE any law and order show), psychology (I'm a psychology student to be exact), and money (well other peoples money...I was once a finance student). And I think that reducing a scorpio to mearly a sex object or being just "sexy" is something one shouldn't do. I don't know...maybe I'm having a bad day but this post seemed to be everything a scorpio or pluto influenced person isn't. Superficial and overly simplistic (as in one particular placement equates sexiness, etc.) in regards to explaining behavior. IP: Logged

I personally know people who are students of astrology that won't come on to boards like this. But I agree with Grly. I am an opened minded person. What I think is hot may not be hot to others. I don't want to seem like some person with a stick up her bum but generalizations just annoy me to no end, especially since I used to do it. To clarify though I'm not overreacting...I understand that Augentier is just having light hearted fun talking about some boy she is into...but I guess it's just over the course of being on this board for the past three plus years (I'm for sure a lurker lol) that I see so many posts like this or about individual aspects and placements (and I too used to do it) that I guess I finally snapped (having the flu doesn't help either) so to speak and took it out on this particular thread. I apologize if it seems like I'm mad I'm not. I do pose a question for you or anyone actually...has anyone been with a scorpio venus guy with his mars in an air sign? Perhaps the original poster has really great sexual "synastry"( wiht the other person) that doesn't necassarily involve JUST his/her venus in scorpio position. (in relationship to their own natal planets) As far as taking astrology seriously.. I'm all about it ( almost religiously U could say ) So, therefore, if the original poster in this thread was just "killing time" then so be it!!! BUT, on the flip side,there are people who visit this site that TOTALLY believe EVERY word they type!!! (like me ) and, on that note, focusing one's sexual attraction on another person's singular planetary placement (seemingly without any regard to the obvious implication of reciprocation i.e. synastry, between the charts) seems to me to be a bit misguided..
