I have just recently met this man but I feel like i've known him forever, and, even more weird is the fact that somentimes I feel like I can read his thoughts.

Anyway, i did yesterday a synastry using our birth charts and this is what came out, the left sign is mine, the right sign is his:

The comment on the internet site about Sun Square Moon was as follows:

But how does that add up with the fact that they say that, on the other hand,the aspect "Sun Trine Monon" is considered a positive aspect?

I do not undestand how to read these two connected: on one hand, my Sun trines his Moon, and on the other hand, my Moon squares his Sun....how can these two be both positive and negative at the same time?

Can someone please help me better understand how to interpret this synastry?

And what about Neptun Square Mercury? I hear this is also a negative aspect, though not as bad as Sun Square Moon.

Sun trine Moon and Sun square Moon

A's emotions,feelings,instincts,nurturing,feminine nature are in harmony the B's self expression,ego,vitality,masculine nature

BUT

B's emotions,feelings,instincts,feminine ature are in conflict with A's self expression,ego,masculine nature

The good thing is that the relationship won't be taken for granted which the Sun trine Moon can indicate, but that there will be a lot of effort to put into the relationship to make it work indicated by the Sun square Moon. Squares are energizing aspects because of the stress,conflict. Trines resonate with Leo and Sagittarius, but squares squares resonate with Cancer and Capricorn.

The Sun square Moon seems closer in orb with the Sun trine Moon,and so a stronger aspect.

Neptune and Mercury clashing suggests confusion and problems communicating. But again, you also have Mercury conjunct Mercury, so maybe you think alike, and have the same humour.

But looking at aspects in insolation is only part of the story. How they look together and as individual charts is important in synastry.

From what you've put there it sounds like you have Mercury Square Neptune natally. So if someone comes along with Mercury conjunct your Mercury chances are they are going to trigger off this testing aspect and make you work on this part of your persona.

Bluemoon, indeed I have a Mercury Square Neptune in my natal chart. I do not understand how you could have known that without seeing my chart, but then again I am a rookie in astrology.
