I was just wondering if anyone knows about the different astrology softwares available and which are the best (for different types of people)? I was looking at Kepler software and it looks cool, but I would like to know if it is a good choice to purchase. I would appreciate the advice. Thanks!

I have both Kepler and Solar Fire.
They are both very good.

I like Kepler because it does midpoint comparisons including declinations!
Solar Fire doesn't do midpoint comparisons nor declination midpoints like Kepler. I like the Avalon College, the Astrological Encyclopedia,Health Encyclopedia,the artwork,pictures. I like that it shows perigree/apogee and perihelion/aphelion and the planetary nodes of objects. I like their basic natal and synastry interpretations. Even have midpoint,harmonic interpretations. It has some intepretations of zodiac degrees.

I mainly use Solar Fire when doing readings. It is good for checking out comparisons with the declination whole aspects. I like that you can choose and make your own aspects with Solar Fire as well as 3D True Body aspects. I like that Solar Fire have reports of asteroid aspects,planetary node aspects,and fixed stars.

I have been Kepler and Solar Fire user since 1999.

I'd say cosmobiologists might like Kepler more for the midpoints stuff.

If you're interested in relationship software I'd highly recommend Solar Writer Synastry. It's the most direct and not to mention uncanningly accurate report software I've ever come across in regards to relationships. I wouldn't recommend it if you're not ready to hear the brutal truth about what kind of relationship you're in!

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it. I really want to get the software that will work the best for me. I looked at Solar Fire about a year ago, but don't know much about it. I wouldn't mind having both SolarFire and Kepler if I could handle the price. Thanks again!

Really cool interactive chart program. It actua;lly allows you to see the chart change minute by minute in one-minute, five-minute, thirty-minute, or one whole day increments.

You can see it going back in time or forward. Bottom right of the screen is the controls.

You can see your radix chart, heliocentric chart, draco chart, transit chart, progressed chart and harmonic charts.

Just input your place of birth first, next screen select place of birth from highlighted choices, next screen first and last name day/month/year/time of birth (24 hr format), next screen select correct time zone and whether or not daylight savings time was in use at the time of your birth. Then enjoy the interactive chart.

When i calculated horoscope, i also get information about them. When you click sembols, you get information, when you point to the sembols on the right side you can get information about decans, dwads ( duats ), Moon mansion and meanings of the mansions, you can see 72 Angels and Demons names which was fascinating and ruler of the dat ruler of the hour, ruler of the angel, ruler of the arcangel it was very very informative Every corner of the horoscope comes with the informative texts.

For beginners start reading your Sun sign, then your Moon sign, then your rising sign, then your Mercury, then Venus sign, then Mars sign then the others. Read your free personal Horoscope chart from astrozoom;
