I feel like on top of the world! A few minor setbacks here and there but nothing too major.

I am not trying to throw that in anyone's face here but lately it seems like people around here have forgotten the fact that you have yourselves as well and that you can change things for yourself.

Feeling crabby? Find out why. Pulled a muscle? Bandage yourself up, heal and get back to training. Mind not going on track? Find out what factors are messing with your head and see how you can reverse that.

Geez people, God (or natural causes if you prefer) did give you free will to work with. Use it.

Heart Cakes yes I was a nervous wreck for a couple of days until Tuesday.

Then I started my period.

Wow, I felt better. So did everyone else.

Maybe I should exercise some free will and get a hysterectomy?

There ya go. You were well within your menturation cycle. To say that the phases of the moon effects bad luck is to say that the possibility of crossing a black cat can bring you utter chaos.

So free-will comes within understanding the fact that yes you were within the mensturation phase and that blaming it on it the eclipse seems a tad... excessive.

And yes I am well aware of mensturaiton and the Lunar cycle. It only indicates the time period; Not the possibility of bad luck.

I feel good, maybe just a little tired from training but overall I am doing just fine; I do have a lot of challenges still around me but this time around I am not letting them get to me, what happens will happen and I am just going to do my best.

In fact last night I had this feeling like nothing could bring me down, yeah there are still some things I don't understand but for some reason I think I am on my way to better things, maybe this is why I am not freaking out about anything.

It's a biological process over which I have no control.

If you had the choice would you opt to bleed out of your penis for a week out of every month?

It was also two weeks late. Mabye that's the eclipse? Or if you chose to believe my doctor, these things happen because are because I am "getting old". What a w@nker!

Well then its a biological process . Does that pertains to bad luck in anyway? Does that means that there is a possibility that you will have a period on every lunar eclipse? What if the Mensturaiton cycle is distrupted due to hormonal change and your mensturate a bit later?

Factors will be factors Bluemoon but blaming mood swings on the eclipse? As I said, a tad too excessive.

Lol! Are we gonna make this a gender issue now ?

Edit: Fair enough: It happened later. How would that explain that nothing happened to me during the eclipse? Actually I would say the week had has its stressful periods but that happens every week for me. That isn't unusual. But, I had a blast last night.

Is the lunar eclipse selective in choosing its victims? Lol! I am just presenting another POV .

It's not me blaming a strained wrist on the eclipse, is it?

True enough but there have been another person on this same thread who just said that she feels great even though there might be things she knows that need attention to. And quote her:

"In fact last night I had this feeling like nothing could bring me down, yeah there are still some things I don't understand but for some reason I think I am on my way to better things..."

So, its a matter of preception then; Not bad luck .

There are things over which we have no control. Free will is limited.

Even doctors have been known to say (to me) - it was sh!t luck. No explanation. It's what you do with the information that is free will.

yes, well i am aware of the reasons for feeling crappy. just heard that it can bring out these issues and was whining about the fact that it was for me.

but i do appreciate the reminder.

That maybe so but its still there and you still have the ability to exercise what remains of it. And that means projecting a plausible course of action to which you can lead yourself out of a degrading situation.

Offcourse I talk about this on an average person's situation.

Edit: But doctors do whatever they can before they pronounce when a situation has gone "sh!t" .

Edit 2: THERE ya go. You got the point now Bluemoon.

No, he did plenty. He meant it was sh!t luck that I had to sit in his office in the first place.

As in it wasn't my fault, it was beyond my control, there was nothing I could have done, free will did not apply.

It was on the day of an eclipse.

Yet you still haven't proven that how me and NAM haven't been effected by it . I can't see how things were any different yesterday then they were the day before?

Well apart from a VERY nice night (a positive thing BTW ,) I don't see any negitive effects of the eclipse at all.

Does that mean that my pervious point stays true? That its a selective thing? Or could it be coincidence?

Its not a SURE thing Bluemoon .

And as yourself said before, dealing with it in a positive way matters as well.

People have gotten all weirded-out by eclipses for thousands of years.
Perhaps we should keep in mind that really it was just an "enhanced" Full Moon -- and you all know where the word "lunatic" came from, right??

Full Moons mean emotions can be all over the place. Some handle that "better" than others.....

The eclipse was nearly 2 degrees off my Asc/Dsc axis, and (begging all your pardons ) I'm doing fine, like Xod and Nelly.....

thanks zala.. mostly it's just stress of moving and a teething toddler who just learned the fine art of tantrums and the residue of a bizarre argument with a friend.. nothing major, just headaches and sort of a general anxiety.
