To me it has a lot to do with imagination so I'll look out for that, but most importantly I've never seen any so-so writer, let alone the good one, without terribly hard working habit. You definitely need Saturn for it.

Thankx for all your thoughts and opinions.

Ranti,

yes, i totally forgot about Saturn, and like all other professions and areas of life, hard work is always a key element.

Using one or another type of chart, places Saturn in my 1st house,or in my 2nd house( in 0šScorpio).

Saturn sextiles my Sun/Venus/Neptune and semisextile my Mercury.
It conjuncts my Pluto;semisextiles my ASC and trines my MC(Cancer).

Oposes my Juno and kikunk VX.

Declinations:

contraparalells my Sun( its a bilevel aspect i think)
Contraparalells my 6thCusp

Itīs latitude my Moon(Taurus)

Of all the above i think that in this matter the most important ones can be the sextile to sun/neotune and the trine to MC.

It would be interesting if each of us post the aspects of one or more writers that we are fond off and discuss it

I thinit ca have to do with the polarity that opositions have?

Neptune being in aspect with the sun makes the person very tuned with spirituality and the various worlds we can create through imagination..?

I looked into 3 natal charts of my most loved writers: Gibran, Richard Bach and Virginia Woolf.

Richard Bach:

- Sun in Cancer conj Venus/Mars in the 10th - talk about sensitiveness isnt it?

-Jupiter in Sag (here it is )...conj his IC

- Neptune(Virgo)conj his ASC - should figured this one too..

- Merc in GEM (great one) in his 9th

Merc and Mars both conj his MC,and his Jupiter itīs in his 3rd house nicely trines his Moon.

His SATURN makes a lot of skuares though..and his Neptune also makes a lot of hard aspects.

GIBRAN:

Sun in CAP
Moon in Sag
Neptune in Taurus with Saturn(r)Kiron(r)Pluto(r) - Hmmm this stellium must have been hard to deal with..

-Jup in GEM - in the 2nd house but almost in the cusp, near the 3rd house

- MERC in the 10th house in CAP (again as it was with Bach...)

-Sun/Mars in the 9th ,also in Cap

- he had NN in the 7th - i wonder this aspect as he never been really happy in love..his SM was always far away and it was through her that he found his true talent - writting and in this i see why his Valentine its conj his MC

- Ive never seen a natal char with so many trines! Both his Merc/SUN had trine with Saturn/Uranus/Nep/Pluto/Kiron!

He had his 2nd and 3rd house both the cusps in Gemini - sign of comunication (GREAT Placement isnt it?)

VIRGINIA WOOLF

SHe has what i call a very interesting chart:her 12th house was loaded really:Moon/Vesta/Saturn/Pluto/kiron/Jup/Neptune,all in Taurus excepting Moon in Aries.

- HERE IT is again..Mercury in the 10th!Itīs in AQua.

-Sun in Aqua conj MC and Venus in the cusp conj MC also

- Her Merc receives a lot of skuares..i think she was born in the wrong Century and so in that time she was a very misunderstood by others ..only her SM did really saw her like she was.

She had one of the most beautiful aspects in her chart: NN conj Valentine in the 7th - she really met her true love in her life.

Her Neptune conj her kiron maybe meant that her way of being transported into her own world though her Mind and imagination, made her heal some of her deepest wounds.

Coincidence or not,she had the 4 Cinderela Linkages as well.

The Mercury in the 10th seems to be a very strong indicator of a sucessful writer ( and when i say sucessful i dont mean money but inner fullfillment through their writings)
