Writesomething that's all very accurate. Nice work! The only exception that instead of the father being no present he was too present. If that makes any sense. Mother was more absent.IP: Logged |

BR ~Thank you for asking after my bug It's been horrid!! Came down with it Monday night, and I've had the most awful sore throat and cough, my chest is just burning. The bug defied gravity and proceeded up into my head to congest that environs. I can't take it anymore!!!! I can't swallow without pain and no matter how much I drink my throat is dry and tickley then I cough that excruciating hacking thing that won't stop. I have about half my voice back (total laryngitis a few days ago). Somebody please just put me out of my misery Starting to wonder if it's strep, but last time I had strep it was accompanied by 103+ fever and I've only had a low-grade temp for the past day or two..... {{{ hugs }}} to you for your kindness, sweetie IP: Logged |

Zala,Please sprinkle cayenne pepper into whatever you're drinking. I promise it will ease discomfort in your throat. http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/sore_throat.html#inst I don't really follow anyone's rules in particular. I would sprinkle it in literally whatever I was drinking, and I'd be fine. It didn't matter if it was hot, cold, or warm the cayenne works the same. Even in a caffeinated drink like coffee or tea. And I wouldn't sprinkle so much in there that the taste would be too hot either. It doesn't take that much. Other sites boasting about cayenne: http://herballegacy.com/Cayenne.html http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/cayenne.html http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art43844.asp http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/cayenne-000230.htm It is a wonder, and I now keep a bottle on my desk at work (though I'm a little embarrassed to admit I don't have one at home).

I know exactly what you're talking about zala, i"m pretty sure I had the same bug.The cough is so painful and horrid, and you don't have the energy to cough, but your body forces you to anyway. Fun fun. Please remember to drink fluids and try to get some calories in if you can! IP: Logged |
