I have recently started a new job and I am catching the bus to work. There is a girl on the bus that gets on regular which I am attracted to. Anyhows, when I first started getting on the bus she came and sat next to me a couple of times when there were other seats on the bus and didnt say a word to me (and I didnt speak to her as shy).I am really attracted to her but also irritated by her at the same time if you know what I mean? I have a Moon square Pluto and wondered if that has anything to do with it. Don't know anything about her but she stirs my feelings. I find it really difficult to break the ice with her tho and the longer it drags on the harder it gets. I just cant seem to relax around her. This has been going on for 4 weeks now. I feel threatened by her and it is making me feel miserable. I am obviously reading too much into this but any idea how I can resolve this situation ? Much obliged for any help you can give from a girls perspective. Don't know is she thinks I scary or wants me to make a move. IP: Logged |

Well, as a girl who frequently rides the bus, I think It would creepy to get close to people I don't know, especially males.
It's different if you see her not just inside the bus so she knows something else about you. How about trying a smile, or a hi how how are you?
If she's a student, ask her what school she goes to....Try small talk.

She gets the same works bus. What made me feel uncomfortable was her coming to sit next to me on the bus when there were other spare seats. I had only just started my new job and was feeling uncomfortable in my new surroundings. She just plonked herself down and didnt say anything to me. Like she was waiting for me to say something to her. Felt like it was invading my personal space. She did this twice. Like she was waiting for me to break the ice with her. But I didnt. Now I am thinking I missed the boat.

lol. Maybe I am too sensitive but I am picking up something and reading way too much into it as a result. I am fine talking to women who are no "threat" to me i.e. they are already taken or older women who know how to break the ice. But as soon as there "might" be something in it and I am attracted to someone I just freeze. Which is even the more confusing as I fancy her.I just dont know what to do about it and fear being rejected. IP: Logged |

Your instincts are probably spot on. BUT that doesn't mean that social niceties should be cast to the wind. Maybe she has a boyfriend, or a husband, and it IS disconcerting when men wander up to you at bus-stops and ask you out. This has happened to me not that long ago - it just made me think - wow, you are weird. If I was young and stunning it might make sense, but, well, I'm neither. IP: Logged |

She made herself available for conversation twice, now she assumes you have a girlfriend and are just being polite with the "hello". You are going to have to say, "Hey, have we met before or something? I've been wondering that since you sat by me." She might get nervous then and say something about just liking to sit up front or in back or whatever and you can tell her that "Well, it was no problem having a pretty girl sit next to me!" or something along those lines. Then if she smiles or whatever you can just smile right back and look forward to more smiles in the future. Then you might go sit with HER after the second or third day of smiles. Good luck!
