Hi! It's been a while since I've been here. Working hard, and still working hard. But I have a quick question that's been burning my mind for the last few weeks, as I discovered a group of men.

Gemini Men.

I traveled to visit a friend who had this tall gorgeous roommate. The guy was so clean, bathroom and kitchen (I'm a Virgo, LOL! So I notice those things). Oh, and did I mention, gorgeous!

Then, there's this guy at work. Tall and Gorgeous. Gemini.

I usually don't go for the tall and gorgeous type like that. I'm more sexually compatible with Scorpios and Cancers. But, is this norm with Gemini men.

What kind of men are they usually, in general. I know you have to take the rest of the chart into account, but what are some of the common themes?

My interest is piqued.

By the way, my friend, the one I traveled to go visit is a Scorpio, who kept reminding me in a round about way, that his roommate was only pretending to be clean because I was there. But I wasn't buying it. This Gemini man, I mean showered twice a day, cooked day and night...I mean, I wanted to flirt, flirt flirt! And possibly.... Oh, and he even said he returned home early from work while I was there, which according to my friend, the Gem never does. I mean, the Scorp is transparent, obvisiously jealous and reacts to everything little mediocre thing he gets jeoulous of. Even if I smiled to much at the FEMALE waitress. Geesh. But, this Gemini...What's their flirting style? How can you really tell they're interested? Or, are they so gorgeous that they're used to woman always pouncing on them? Hmmm...

Oh, yummy... Gemini men.

Right now I am in the throes of a full blown crush on a Gemini. Many moons ago, I was engaged to a Gemini. Both tall, both gorgeous.

I have never noticed them to be particularly neat, tho.

Flirting style? Umm, its so random...you have to be witty. It seems as if its all about conversation, to the point of being a smart-a$$. They love to chat, and they love it if you keep them on their toes.
They love "newness." Something fresh, something different.

Its also great if their friends like you, and you can hang out with everyone as a group (don't get possessive of their time.)

*sigh*
I miss my Gemini.

I'm a Gem rising (with Venus) and I'm a neat freak. My friend, Bree, is a Gem Sun and is so anal about how neat everything is. Not a hair out of place! She always looks like she just came from a manicure but she does a better job herself than a salon could ever do!

I have a male Gemini Sun friend whom I'm close with but he's gay. He's a playful flirt...coy and witty. Seems more friendly to me but the other guys usually pick up on his flirting so I guess friendly, funny and witty is the Gemini style.

Ohhh, and Gem Suns LOOOOOVE smarts in a person. THey will devour that stuff up so make sure you like to read and know stuff. Interesting stuff too. Pick weird subjects.

I have the rising and even I find intelligence the biggest turn on.

I dated a gem rising, he was tall, thin, not gorgeous but i was in love with the way he looked. He was very physical as opposed to cerebral. But still I didn't care for the Gemini side of him, he was such a flake it was irritating. I couldn't understand how he sustained any kind of relationship with a woman. He was really too old to be still carrying on that way...

I read that when Geminis walk they look like they flutter. True. I don't know how I feel about that in a man. He had such nervous high energy about him it disturbed me. He wasn't particularly bright or talkative. His Gemini qualities stood out too much, I don't mesh well with those, so....

They're my favourite. I have an important one in my life.

John Taylor! Yum!

I would like to see this guy's chart. The fact that he is so neat might indicate maybe a lack of earth in his chart as this happens to people with lack of earth in charts. I have this problem and can be quite anal about things. Maybe thats why he is so attracted to you as you are earth (but commonly mercury ruled).

And yes, they love wit - its all in the mind and you have to turn them on that way

LOL I was just thinking about John Taylor as a typical Gemini! My bf is also tall, gorgeous and clean and tidy... haha. The flirting style is nothing other than an obvious flirtation in my experience, but the flirtation doesn't necessarily mean they're really into you (I was shocked when the Gemini boy at my school who had been flirting with me ended up going out with some other girl!)... To be honest I still don't even know how you tell if they are really into you... Maybe you know it when they actually stick around.

As Leo sun, ascendant, mars&venus in cancer I'd say RUN! I know their charm, believe me, the hard way, but over time they are maddening. AND you can never trust them. I can't stand the way they talk and talk and talk-behind your back, in front of your face, in their sleep, to their mother (about what you did in the bedroom), their scuzzy redneck friend Joey (who wants him to himself anyway),to your worst enemy, the guy at the gas station, bums on the street, friends, enemies...never know when to shut that thing. And they LIE.

Well it depends if the Gem is evolved. One of the worst people I ever met was one and yes, this person was purely psychopathic and a person who would take pure pleasure in ruining people's lives by her lies. But a good one doesn't gossip, is effusive yes but won't take advantage.

GL75 - and get this, he had a pet macaw! How gemini is that!

Otherwise, if they like you, they'll just stick around. You are right, there's no real way of talking except waiting.

I'm Gemini Rising.

When I flirt with someone, I usually tease them. And I like it when people tease back.

I wasn't sure if the Gem was interested until the night we ended up making out.
Even after that, I wasn't sure.
He would chat with me, and tease me.. when we would run into each other he made sure to say hello and make small talk. He thinks I am too serious and overly focused on my job.
But I spent two months not really hanging out with him. The last night I would be able to see him, he tells me that he likes me (and he hates me) and that he wants me, that I am the only woman he has met in a year he would consider dating- but that he will not pursue anything with me.

Gee, another emotionally unavailable man. How original.
WTF?

Motherkonfessor,

He'll probabilly change what he said once again, he clearly likes you.

Well, thats the thing if the gem ignores you in public, but then talks with you at work, then he not rally into you.

But if he greets you in places in public you know he's into you.

I pretend not to know lots of people in public, but greet the ones that mean something to me.

I'm starting to think that there are two types of gems the pesemsitic types that ask a lot off questions and the fun loving types.

Paula Abdul is more of the fun loving type, she always has something nice to say on American Idol and you can see her having fun listing to people sing.

Heinz Guderian, founder of blitzkrieg is more of the pesemsitic but asking questions type.

Donald Trump is a little bit also.

Natural111,

I whouldn't be to sure that he's all, just because I spent a year taking Buissnes in College before changing my mind before transefering to a diffrent College program.

Even thought I only spent a year in Buisness half of people in my class think, I'm some enterprising person.

When the truth is I'm a little bit, but not as much as they think I am, last week one of my classmates was writing a Buissnes propsal for Angel Investors and he asks me who wrote one, what to do think of mine? I'm saying to myself, YIKES!

Even worse, half the class know I do my own Stock Investing, then one of my other classmates who has owned Mutal Funds for the last 5 yrs asks me I'm taking losses but do you own.

Then I end up gowing on in saying its mostly common sense and to stay out of financials and ETF's are better.

I think Gems can be so convencing sometimes, but then again my Aqua astrolger whould always say the Gem whould know because he finds a lot of information about it.

But, I just find that sometimes people think that were a lot more then we are sometimes.

Paula Abdul is a Gemini???? Do you know how many places have her listed as a Leo? There is some major misinfo out there on celebrity birthdays. Same with Elvis aqua/capricorn and Dolly Parton Gemini/capricorn.
Anyway, the thing about them not knowing anything is certainly true in my experience. My sister and my s.o. are the same way. She's sold real estate for 20 years and still doesn't know what she's doing. They fly by the seat of their pants like that. He's one of the best at his profession but can't tell you the simplest thing about how to do it.

Thanks so much, everyone! This has been most helpful. As I ascertained, the Gemini male is a complicated creature :-)!

But I do see our love styles do not match...

I'm not in a relationship with either guy, and both guys more than likely, from what I guessed, saw me, lifted their brows, flirted, and forgot me! :-) LOL!

Thanks again!

Hey, just wanted to say, that I DO know a gemini guy who is exactly like that. Tall, gorgeous, and handsome. But he is quite irresponsible...though irresponsible at the same time (only about things that affect his reputation). I think they are responsible in certain areas because they'd like to be seen as responsible. But then they are irresponsible in others, like, my cousin (the tall handsome one, well he is not really my cousin anyway, but i do not like him like that) went to sleep at like 4 am watching a movie, the night before his wedding. And i heard from his girl that he's eaten like 10 muffins straight one after the other in one day before (the muffins were for the bachelorette party thingy for the woman and he had eaten them the night before lol). I also noticed he can be quite critical, but he is actually quite sweet. I think he is critical like that sometimes because he's embarrassed to be too sweet when in front of others like that.

But yeah, anyway, just be prepared for a bit of two-facedness sometimes with the gemini guy, i guess. They, i think, like a capricorn, care about their reputation and social standing quite a bit. Not so much as in prestige...but they definitely like to be known as a quick-witted, outgoing, socially charming person.
