I´ve just discovered Horary astrology and find it very interesting, but I must admit I´m very, very, confused! Some of the descriptions i´ve come across on the net of how it works are very difficult for me to understand (as english is not my mother tounge). I wonder if anyone here could explain it in a more “Horary for dummies”-kind of way?
A planet which is “translating”, does it mean it is “connected” to another planet by aspect?
When it is said that the Sun is “separating” from Uranus, does it mean they have no aspects that connect each other?
“When the two main significators have not yet perfected their aspect but each applies by major aspect to a third planet, this third planet can act as a transmittor and collect their lights bringing them forward into aspect”
Can someone please explain in simple words or at least other words what this means. I find the same kind of explanation written everywhere on the internet, but I still don´t get it…
When it says “major aspect to a third planet” does it mean any aspect – negative or/and positive?
What does “bringing them forward into aspect” mean? Does it mean that two planets in “difficult” places (in it´s fall) and with negative aspects could “become” positive because of the planets have positive aspects from another planet? (I´m really confused about this!)
And this thing about “The Moon being void of course”… Does it mean it is not aspecting anything (including Asc/MC etc) at those dates mentioned on MVOC-lists on the net? Or does it only concern MAJOR aspects to planets?… I don´t get it…
What is the best way of looking up if the Moon is VoC if you have a horary chart? Do Horary astrologers avoid to do horary charts during this event?
If anyone can recommend a good book on Horary astrology I would appreciate it - something with very clear descriptions
Many Thanks!
