My guess is that your Venus is going to get a wake up call. If Venus rules any of your health centers - the 1st House, 12th House or 6th House, you may see some health issues ranging from Hemmorrhoids to Kidney issues, or endocrine system kinda stuff. But that's the extreme.

The main keywords for Chiron are "the wounded healer" so that's why I think your Venus is going to wake up to it's true calling somehow.

The Magi Astrologers would consider it completely positive. I believe they would call it a Cinderella time so I think you'll get a potpourri of experiences, but watch your general health, that's all I know about it.

chiron square my venus was one of the worst transits ever- happened last year - and all romantic relationships became painful. old relationships that were outdated left my life in a very painful drawn out way which left me feeling abandoned, neglected, thrown away like i wasnt needed anymore. i became a lot more defensive about my approach to letting people in and i began to understand how in the past i had hurt or abandoned people. it made me never ever want to do it again. im not sure about the conj- but thats me!

I have this looming too. But my conjunction will happen in my 4th house. So I would like to know what usually happens under this transit. And also I wanted to ask: when should I expect to feel the effects? Chiron is now 2 degrees away from my Venus.

I think Geocosmic Valentine is well intended but sounds silly. The notion of predicting something so specific as kidney issues from an astrological transit is troubling at best and true idiocy at worst.

In fact any dire prediction of health issues from any transit is irresponsible.

Chiron has less to do with health than coming into your own - in terms of your social roles in society - and helping you confront anything preventing that. That is why the universal experience of chiron has to do with teachers and guides. THAT is what it brings to peoples lives consistently. The teacher - either finding one or becoming one to someone else - being in service of - is what chiron is about more than any cliche and overly dramatic notions of "wounding." This may or may not include so called healing. It is really less about healing than helping you rise to a new station very tangibly.

Heres an interesting point: if you look at the outer planets, every other planet has a hard or malefic quality. Uranus is included in that. It doesnt make sense for chiron, satun and uranus - which are all adjascent to each other to all have malefic qualities. What makes more sense is this:

jupiter - benefic

saturn - malefic

chiron - benefic

uranus - malefic

neptune - benefic

pluto - malefic

Obviously, any of these planets can have easier or harder transits. However, the mechanism of action tends to be mild with the benefics and more aggressive with the malefics.

Bucketrider,

Geocosmic didn't say anything silly. She didn't even make any prediction nor did she make a specific prediction such as kidney issues.

She said that if Venus rules any of her health centers, she MAY see some health issues from hemmorrhoids to kidney issues,or endocrine system kinda stuff. she even said "BUT that's the extreme" therefore she wasn't stated any of that as something definite. She was mentioning possibilities.

Also..some astrologers do believe that conjunctions involving objects beyond Saturn are considered to be harder as they are energies that can be hard to handle. Medical Astrologers tend to focus on conjunction as a hard when it comes to medical health issues including especially the Cosmobiologists. That's why Cosmobiologists mainly focus on the hard aspects including the conjunction...especially with midpoints which are sensitive points that need to be activated by hard aspects like the conjunction, opposition, square, semisquare, and sesquiquadrate...even the 22.5 degree series aspects that the Uranian astrologers use.
I actually trust hard aspects and midpoint pictures for medical astrology insights instead of sign and house placements.

She even said that she thinks that the transit might have to do with her true calling.

She pointed out that the Magi Astrologers would consider it completely positive and that they call it Cinderella time. She said that she thinks that she'll get a potpourri of experiences. She told her to watch her general health.

The main thing is that she didn't state anything as absolute

So I feel that you unnecessarily slammed Geocosmic Valentine, and so I didn't hesitate to defend her because she didn't do anything wrong. A matter of fact, all I do is see her be very generous and helpful with her Astrological expertise in the forum.

I hear you Glaucus.

She ended with "watch your general health." I think its irresponsible when astrologers speak that way. I am getting more and more impatient with the fatalism which is strong in some sectors. It is IMPOSSIBLE to predict anything with that level of specificity with astrology.

Bucketrider in regards to your:
" It is IMPOSSIBLE to predict anything with "that level of specificity with astrology.

Geocosmic said:
"The Magi Astrologers would consider it completely positive. I believe they would call it a Cinderella time so I think you'll get a potpourri of experiences, but watch your general health, that's all I know about it."

She even pointed out what the Magi Astrologers view about the aspect.

and she said " but watch your general health"
that's not saying that she is going to have health problems. that can be seen as a suggestion to take precautions like take care of herself. That seems like helpful and caring.

Geocosmic didn't do anything wrong.

If you think that she's fatalistic, you should take a look at the Vedic Astrology groups on yahoo. I have been in them, and so I know what they are like. It's a highly predictive Astrology.

they even tell you to take precautions like mantras, gemstones.

I have studied some Vedic Astrology because I was fascinated by the reincarnation, karma, pastlife basis. I felt like it wasn't compatible with my religious, spiritual beliefs as well as my culture. I also don't like how they come across like they invented Astrology when there is evidence that people in Mesopotamia did.

Both Cosmobiology and Uranian Astrology are event-oriented Astrology. Classical Astrology is also very predictive.

I even was at youtube and watched a video of Classical Astrologer,Chadow criticizing modern astrologers for being too psychological and that their Astrology is watered down.

here is a transit interpretation from Solar Fire

This is a time for healing in relationships, during which you have the opportunity to build bridges and share your deepest nature with your loved ones. Previous emotional or physical pain may have hindered you fully sharing your thoughts and feelings. Now is the time for healing which paves the way for more fulfilment in your relationships. It may even be that you step back into the past and heal old relationships which you had previously thought irretrievable. It is also possible that you form a close relationship with a woman friend. However, it is likely that your primary partner will be the most significant person involved in this transit as you search for new and more meaningful ways of sharing your life in your relationships. There may be some pain involved in the healing process, but ultimately you benefit from showing compassion to both yourself and your loved ones. It is also possible that a relationship starts now which ultimately proves to be a vital step in your spiritual growth.
