SparklingSag Knowflake Posts: 192 From: Registered: May 2009	posted March 15, 2008 06:12 AM Hey all, Just wanted put something out there....i've noticed lately the name of the guy my heart belongs too everywhere! For example, at work i was processing an application and the street name was the his name, a friend reccomended a book and the author had his name and i see his name in newspapers. It's been happening alot recently. He is on a study abroad program for a year but we spoke a week or so back when he helped me out with something. I guess my question is this: seeing his name everywhere when i least expect it, is that a sign? or is it simply that im subconsciously looking for it?? Sparkling IP: Logged

However, the name appearing at inopportune times are signs that the universe is reminding you of him. The name of my guy appears in inopportune moments that are very significant. I usually chuckle and enjoy the meaning and moment of recognition it evokes on me. His name usually appears alongside something that has personal meaning, either for him or both of us, so its a breath of fresh air, even if its just coincidence! IP: Logged

I've gotten to where I just say a little prayer and ignore it most of the time. It's so frustrating trying to figure these things out all the time. I have psychic silliness all the time. I mean truly earth shaking coincidence and very profound things and then those like you're talking about but most of the time they seem to mean nothing. It can really make you neurotic with the most mundane things and you get supersitious. It's like there's an intelligence out there behind it just screwing with you for sh-ts and giggles. BUT THEN there have been those nonsensical out of the blue flashes like it felt like God was telling me something that when I followed up it really paid off big time sooo... IP: Logged

I believe the "intelligence" is in you, acting on your directions, but that is only part of the story... I acknowledge there are signs but sometimes it seems so purposeless or you get the sign and it seems like it's only to taunt you like finding out what you need to know when it's impossible to do anything about it or it's too late in another way. Seeing his name suddenly when not expecting it, does seem a sign to me. It makes me smile anyway, so is all positive :-) Sparkling IP: Logged

Whatever you focus on acts as a magnet, attracting anything like itself. Your mind takes whatever you think about as a problem to be solved and goes to work "presenting" you with solutions. So, because you've been thinking about "Gregory"...the universe is presenting you with all kinds of "Gregorys". If you think about it, you've had similar experiences in the past. IP: Logged

heart cakes unregistered	posted March 18, 2008 02:56 AM wow! what a mind-blower, hey? i think about this stuff all the time. i'm inclined to agree with BLK and dj. that is, there is no definitive answer, and i do not think LOGIC bears any place in understanding and can trap us into dead ends.. i think if you are finding signs or signals, those are YOUR reachings out and recievings back. just like if you kept seeing the name of someone who made you feel completely awful.. you would work diligently at ignoring those signals and shaking them.. and in the process, would also have the opportunity to deal with whatever hold that person had on your soul and mind.. etc.. i think it is all relevent, but it's about our own choices and intuition and using our hearts to move forward, without fear, into what feels right.. signs are there for a reason, but that's only the tip of the iceburg and the rest is really about what we do with it.. For example, my love interest is from Sweden and my flatmate put a post-it note up in the kitchen. The note had "sweden" written all over it as her friend had sent it from Stockholm. My love interest and I had collaborated together on a travel article on sweden for my job. So it was on my mind. I see the name of a person.......I'm trying to forget about but the name keeps popping up.......like today this name showed up three times....and that never happens on a regular day....and also when at work..at the most unexpected time the name will show up and I will give a big sigh....or when I say I will not think about the person and I'm not ... then it shows up again...the name seems to haunt me......I don't know what to think IP: Logged
