If, say one person has a bunch of chiron aspects with another's planets, who feels what?

What if, some chiron interaspects take longer to access, ie. they don't come via an ascendant or well-aspected planets?

Thanks Linda!

It’s not an easy question I think, especially not the second part of it. And I haven’t really found anything online discussing who feels chiron, as usually aspects are discussed as affecting both parties equally or in similar ways – in regards to Chiron at least.

If one was to take a similar view to the meaning of Chiron as magi astrology, ie that it symbolises marriage and committed love, it would be especially interesting to understand whether the person with the heavy contacts to Chiron is more desirous of that meaningful connection, or if it was the person whose planets were aspecting the other’s Chiron that thought of them in that way.

I would think when its a personal planet/point aspected by a transpersonal planet, the transpersonal planet person would have more affect on the personal planet/point person.

my Chiron conjuncts my girlfriend's Sun,and so I'd have more of an effect on her in that configuration.

Here are my interpretations from Solar Fire to give you an idea how Chiron aspects work.
From what I have seen Chiron aspects can be important for romantic relationships. After all, many believe that true love can heal. Also...on the negative side, people can be very hurt if a loved one wrongs them. I believe that a person can be hurt the most by the loss of a person that they love the most. Vulnerable to being hurt and loving somebody are very connected. Therefore,I can see how Chiron can fit into romantic relationships.

Meghann's Sun Conjunction Raymond's Chiron
Orb 1°18' Applying
This is a life-changing relationship that results in both Meghann and Raymond being presented with opportunities to heal past wounds in order that they may live fuller and richer lives. Together they enjoy a sense of liberation that comes from truly loving another person. Raymond is more likely to take the role of teacher or healer, having a significant effect on Meghann's life choices. In this role Raymond is also challenged to take a long, hard look at himself before imparting his wisdom. The adage "physician heal thyself" could be a theme for Raymond. In return Meghann learns much from Raymond's experiences and insights, perhaps even discovering her true-life purpose. This is true for intimate relationships, and also for student-teacher and patient-healer liaisons. Either way this can be a gentle, loving union based on mutual respect and compassion.

Thanks very much for your response Glaucus. And with some thought I agree there is no polarity between thinking of Chiron as meaning love AND as healing and vulnerability to hurt. All astrologers should say this if they haven't before.

One of my reasons for confusion about the issue is that Chiron is 'soft' 'a sore spot' 'the most delicate part', therefore where we must truly be loved to be loved. And that, for me, throws the personal via transpersonal planets thing into a dilema (as is it wasn't already on other interpretations!)

In the example of who feels what and when: if someone's Chiron was conjunct their Ascendant then anyone who positively aspected this person might feel it right away, but the Chiron person would be used to it.

In such cases it is definitely the non-Chiron person who feels it right?

But just to complicate matters (sorry), what if in synastry - using the Ascendant conjunct Chiron person above - was to have good aspects to their Ascendant/Chiron from another, but the other's Chiron was hidden under a bunch of more dominant aspects - but was nonetheless aspected - though not from either Ascendant - what do you think?

Masses of questions I know. They are for everyone who has an opinion.

But bright blessings on you and your girl Glaucus for having such a cool trust link as Sun conjunct Chiron.

i have this same placement with the one with my admiration.

his chiron conjunct my sun at 6 orbs

but it also conjuncts my venus at 7 orbs, opposes my neptune at 7 orbs, trines my pluto at 5 orbs, and squares my midheaven at 4 orbs.

with these large orbs, does it still affect us in the same way?

i don't know how polite it is to come in, and ask questions based on another's questions, but i have been wondering the same thing, and thought it a good place to come for interaction on the subject.

eeee (=

So does he trust you 100% do you think? That’s what the Sun-Chiron link is supposed to mean: implicit trust, for right or wrong!

I would include the Chiron-Venus conjunction at 7’ IF it is a bridging aspect, ie. is your Sun in the middle?

The trine Pluto is great I would think, for partnership in general.
