Please tell me if I imagined this or what...I had mentioned the Cap here before. I had been drawn to him immediately by his looks and demeanor. When the opportunity presented itself to ask for his help, which I had given up on by then, I asked his sign and tried to impress him with a few things. It seemed like he liked me right away. He always sits on the same side of the table as me with his leg touching mine (erogenous zone? and also wanted to come to my apt.) and I could SWEAR he was really on the edge of his seat wanting me to take it further but I have the curse of the cancerian, ALWAYS thinking it's obligatory and that we're imagining it plus the Leo pride and fear of embarrassment. I just can't believe this guy would be interested in me especially w/the age difference. That obligatory thing has sabotaged me in a major way in the past. He even asked my sign today when I told him he should be most compatible with a taurus or cancer. I said I had a, m&v in cancer and quickly moved on. Now that HAD to be an overture, don't you thinK? Maybe he was offended when I pretended not to notice. That was after he'd told he "didn't do relationships" because he always gave a 100% and got hurt. I'm trying to read everything I can on the sign to figure him out. It seemed like he was even fishing today for me to actually come out and say something direct. But after an hour or two his mood darkened and he was really irritable for the rest of the session. He said he had a headache. I don't know if I ****** him off or he just stopped liking me or he really had a headache OR if he ever liked me at all. Then a friend came along and I talked to him as this cap was leaving. You know how they are-once you're dumped that's final. I still haven't gotten his birth info. I have to get that tomorrow when I meet him again. The question is did I imagine him liking me in the first place or did he and I ruined it? Would there be anything in my chart if I posted my transits that would show this besides hororary? I'm not even sure there's a hororary on this site...

It's probably a moot point. He just called to stand up. Says he will be available tomorrow but I bet that's a set up to be stood up again.

Leo Sun, Ascendant, Mars, and Venus in cancer, Aqua Moon, Mercury in Virgo.
I hate having new nails. I can't type for nothing. Anyway, I would stake my life literally that I was right but I'm still terrified to come out and ask if he DID like me even. At the very least he had to have wanted me to think so or felt that I was interested in him. This was just too obvious. Do they have to be pursued?

If you both play it cool, then there's a good chance he won't make a move.

If he knows you like him, and you still play it cool he probably won't do anything.

If he knows you like him, and you stop liking him, then he may realize that he prefers you liking him, and he may make a move.

My experience with this Sun combo is that both enjoy flirting a lot more if both are kind of bold about it. Leo may have to take the lead. You might want to get alcohol involved.

DAY-UM! I bought beer today in anticipation of his visit! LOL And that's very unusual for me. Do you say that for a particular reason?
I've pretty much decided I'm not going to call him tomorrow. I doubt he'll call me. I need to nip this in the bud if I'm already feelng what I am now. I've lived my life for a while now without this kind of pain and anguish and it feels good. I don't think I want to risk it again. I just can't believe I messed this up. I keep telling myself I should've just gone for it. I don't think I can handle the coldness though. I don't know if he stood me up for spite or what but it has really put me in a predicament and the fact that he would hurt me like that should be a deal breaker. Then I start to think that he was very hurt and then I get more confused. I keep imagining him thinking about f'ing me over like this and laughing.

I've only gotten a little romantically involved with Leos when there's been alcohol.

One was kind of a friendly flirtation. We were friends/acquaintances, and she enjoyed how much more unrestrained I was under the influence of alcohol. I wasn't truly ever into her, though, but at the same time there was a connection, so it was weird. We ended up kissing a few times, and that was all.

The other Leo picked me up in a bar in San Francisco on the 4th of July. She was a photographer, and she was out to have some fun. There was a great funk band playing that night. She dragged me out on to the dance floor, and the rest is history. She went back to Hawaii the next morning. I would have guessed that she was a Cancer, so I was surprised to find out that she was a Leo.

I'm trying to think of women I've known to be Leos, and who I've also been attracted to, and I'm not coming up with anything. I had a little crush on a Leo for her artistic ability once, but that went nowhere. Body-wise I think Leos are pretty hot, but I'm not sure that I see Leo's as suitable dating material personality-wise. I've been with a Fire Sun (Sag) for some time now, though.

More so than any other sign probably.

We need a million signals including some very obvious ones that the other person is into us before we even think about making a move. (flirting is okay but i mean anything beyond that when i say 'move')

I'm 21 now and have had flings/relationships with a handful of girls. Believe it or not, I only asked out 1 of them.

In all the other ones, it was either the girl finally coming and asking me out after she saw it was going nowhere despite all the flirting and mutual admiration or what happens usually is, they send their friends to talk to you, to let you know that the girl really likes you and wants to see ya, etc.

I would take his interest more seriously if I wasn't paying him so well for his work. I'm not as comfortable with money as caps are. Maybe that's part of it. I can't get past the part about paying him. I feel like he's a hooker and maybe the only reason he's behaving like he is is the money. LOL I have to test it and see what he does. I know he's very insecure so I'm trying to make him feel safe. He really acted more personal when he called yesterday but I had an appt. and I really couldn't talk. We're supposed to get together next week though.

Cuz I thought something I said was interpreted as criticism and telling him what to do. I've read those are taboo. He seems sensitive to my words that way good and bad :/
