Hi Everybody!!!

I wanted to ask when does the Saturn Return
occurs on someone´s chart. Can it be calculated? Or it just happens on the age of 28?

Thankssss

Oh! Happy Easter...:-)

Saturn is a Controlling Devil who teaches you the Real Cutting Side of Life. It moves through each sign every 2.5 years. And, every 2.5 years is a lesson of hard parts of life related to that sign and that house for your chart.

Saturn return means after traveling through every house of your chart, it comes back to original sign and house and tells you that how was the Life? Didn't I give you hard time? Now get back to your life and make proper decisions.

It is believed that during age 30 to 60 .. Saturn becomes supportive in helping us make choices based on experience.

Astrologers who believe strongly in Saturn return have also said that Capricorn and Aquarius people should not marry before the age of 29 because of this DEVIL.

Venia ~

I don't believe in "Controlling Devils" and neither should anyone else.

You will have your first Saturn Return when Saturn has gone all the way around the chartwheel and touches the exact degree that it was when you were born.
You will have your second Saturn Return approx age 56-59. These are two very important milestones in your life, where you will assess what you've accomplished and redirect your goals to more closely align with Who You Are.

Azalaksh, are you Capricorn or Aqua Sun? If so, it's hard for you to hate Saturn ;-)

Capricorn rising here... It should not be a question of hate or love or like for any planet. They all have lessons that they have to teach us, most especially Saturn.

If a person is incredibly grounded, has all their i's dotted and t's crossed, and has really looked into themselves to find and forge their true path, they probably would barely notice their Saturn return (from what I have heard). That being said, most of us aren't quite that grounded and have areas of our life that we neglect or what have you...

From what I have heard, the Saturn Return can be a time when:
- people who are fed up with their jobs, choose a path that is more to their liking (whether voluntarily or involuntarily, by getting fired)
- people in dead end relationships, get divorced
- people who have not chosen a path find one
- people who are on the right path both job-wise and relationship-wise choose to have children (if they haven't already)

I see Saturn as the planet that shows us that life is not some vague concept that we live tomorrow, but life is now and we better start living it... It is a concept that can be applied to our jobs, relationships, health, goals, and our own mortality. But, maybe I am wrong... My Saturn Return is pending (sometime this September, I believe).

Hope this helps...

i made that same question to myself many times also:if it+s always at age 28-29 years..and it really was odd cause i see many people with this age having wonderful time and yup...i guess it has to do with what Alcheme said :makes sense

According to what natal and transits of Astro say:

My bf will have his between Dez 2010-Dez 2011 when we will be about between 28-29 years old

i will have mine between February 2012 - Dez 2013 when i´ll be about 29 years too

i am in my saturn return. i just turned 29. it will be exact this summer..

i am finding it a very difficult time and issues LONG neglected are being forced to the surface to be dealt with..

BUT! i'm also finally feeling like an adult and seeing so many ways to be more responsible and really embrace maturity and stability.

i dunno if it's cuz i'm an aquarius (never heard that one! is it cuz it's its traditional ruler?) but i really love saturn. i think it's awesome.

Using the cyclical approach you can get a forewarning of the issues that will come up during your Saturn Return by observing the themes during the Square (7 years prior), and the Opposition (14 years prior) aspects.

My now 62 year-old-dad just had his 2nd return. Saturn gifted him a new baby & a $2,700pm Mortgage. Not so long ago he as counting the days to retirement. Roughly seven years ago (square aspect) he married his Aquarian devil. Fourteen years earlier (the opposition), he separated, and ultimately divorced wife #2. We got along great, but to hear my grandma tell it, his Gemini devil.

He has Saturn conjunct Sun in Leo.

Hermes,
are you sure your Dad didn't have his Saturn return when he was 58 or 59?
