OK, I was inspired by the responses to Pisces/Sag post. Now the same question about Taurus/Libra interactions. --I have been involved with 2 Tauruses & nearly DIED of boredom...but I KEEP being attracted to them --probably my Cap Moon & Virgo Saturn. I LOVE stability, security with TONS of food...so do Tauruses....so that is where we hook up. My first Taurus girlfriend did show me one HECK of a time in Paris...we even had dinner on the Eiffel --the rest of the time, I was bored to tears!IP: Logged |

You know... It may just be coincidence but I have gotten the same boredom vibe from many fellow Libras (including myself) for the past couple of days. I mean I can't explain it. I attended numerious gatherings including two formals. I had a blast! But I am still pumped up with energy and everyone around me just wanna be couch potatoes for the weekend Lol! (Including my Brothers who so happen to be fire signs.) IP: Logged |

It's an odd one. Though the signs are inconjunct/quincunx with little in common, yet they are both ruled by Venus ~ and both like the finer things in life. Fine restaurants, etc. Thinking about it, my parents-in-law are Taurus/Libra. They fit the bill for the liking of the fine things. They aren't the only long-term married Taurus/Libra combos that I know. IP: Logged |

blue...I'd love to hear a little about the other Libra/Taurus couples. Generally, do they seem happy?IP: Logged |

BLK, as a Taurus Sun who also has a Cap Moon/Virgo Saturn, I am gratified to hear that you are willing to give our Taurus kind a chance! I think you've got the big problem with Taurus/Libra couples pretty much nailed, though—Taurus simply isn't flexible enough for Libran tastes, and generally lets Libra get bored. While long term partnerships between the two aren't unheard of, the Taurus/Libra disconnect is tough to get around. You'd think the Venus thing would be something of a bond between them, but the difference between the way Taurus and Libra embody Venus is the difference between the real and the ideal. And believe me, it can be quite the difference. The truth is, though, I love Libras. I would totally be willing to risk it all (...uh, I think) for the right Libra Sun, despite my concerns about the relationship's potential longevity. There are a lot of benefits to Taurus/Libra partnerships...Libra can teach Taurus how to dress and...can teach Taurus, uh, patience! I think as long as you're willing to accept the potential drawbacks up front, there's nothing wrong with dating Taureans, assuming you have a few things in common and you can deal with a few rough spots. Wild, Thanks for the encouragement! I have Venus in Scorpio, so there's another reason for the attraction---....Initially, I've usually been attracted to Tauruses because of their physical beauty...so pretty to look at... AND they tend to like elegant restaurants, extravagant vacations, and a comfortable home..me too (Cap Moon with Jupiter in my 4th house)!!!---So, I guess I should just quit fighting the feeling...I was always the one to end the relationship before, thinking I'd miss out on something more exciting. Now that I'm older, that really doesn't make sense. By-the-way, Wild...you're an excellent writer!! Your responses are always so well written! IP: Logged |

If you're dating a Taurus, look for one with more fire emphasis in their chart, and they won't be so boring. I'm a downright hyper Taurus because my Mars, Mercury, and Moon are all in fire signs. It can happen.I am curious about this because my celebrity crush is a Libra. I tend to like air signs (too much fire in my chart...), but Geminis and Aquas bug off after awhile. My Libra friends, on the other hand, have been around forever. This strikes me as a good thing for dating. IP: Logged |

My parents have friends who are a Taurus/Libra couple. They seem happy enough to me ~ and as they've been married for over 40 years that has to count as something. Plenty of their contemporaries hit the rocks long ago. btw My FIL has a Libran Moon. Maybe that helps explain the long-term relationship with a Libran Sun. IP: Logged |

defintely true about both appreciating the finer things in life. My dad is a Taurus, my mom is a Libra.. horrible couple. It's not that they don't get along it's just that there is not love (there never was because my mother never loved him in that sense) there's just friendship. To me these signs maybe genuinely comfortable with each other, and may appreciate each other, but there is not enough passion to keep the relationship alive. IP: Logged |

Sexyscorp Your response was thought provoking... I'm inclined to wonder exactly which forces go into making a relationship passionate. I had experienced some passion in my relationships with Tauruses...that wasn't what made it boring....it was simply the monotony of their need for a predictable routine. Being a Libra, I am ESPECIALLY turned off by SOS (Same Old S**T). Conversely, I've experienced extremely passionate relationships---with Scorpios---that did not last. My perfect relationship would be a "Scorpio/Taurus" mix! IP: Logged |

BLK, good to hear you experienced passion in those, to me a passionate relationship between those two signs is pretty much unheard of, i mean I just can't imagine it. All I can imagine is what you said, predictable routine. But scorpio/taurus.. that is a great combo And routine? not between a libra and scorpio/taurus! IP: Logged |

Sexyscorp I believe friendship sustains a long term relationship. If there was passion in the beginning, over time that passion often subsides... (warning....Libra counter-balance approaching!!!) So maybe a Taurus/Libra relationship is a more "mature" relationshipIP: Logged |
