That was an attempt to post my chart. If I didn't get it right, sorry, and I'll try later.

For any of you generous souls who do this ... I'd like to know what my chart shows about me now (age 38) in terms of whether a career change is in the works. I would also like to know if the chart demonstrates something about failed relationships, or relationship patterns in general. And anything else that pops up that's interesting.

Wow. So who says I'm not willing to pay for an astrological read? I did about five years ago. But I'm ready to pay you for your interpretation, Geocosmic. I have PayPal - do you accept that as a form of payment?

I just thought there were people on this forum who do this for purposes of "practice" or "enjoyment" or group discussion or whatever, and since I've seen it done here for others, figured I'd try, too. Why do I get reamed when nobody else does? Just because I mentioned a psychic?

I'm actually surprised you took offense.

And might I add. . . I went to the psychic because she's a medium as well, and I wanted to contact my father who died a year and a half ago (and in fact most of the reading was comprised of messages from him and my grandmother on the other side). So if you're thinking maybe I just want to double dip, the answer is no. What I would expect from an astro chart reading is far different from what I would expect from a psychic/medium.

Like you can see the sign on the Descendant is Leo. The Sun is in the 9th in Scorpio, in Opposition to Retrograde Saturn in Taurus. So if you are looking for failed relationship aspects that is one place to start researching.

There is a good description on the following site but it is copyrighted so I can't cut and paste:

http://www.skyscript.co.uk/sunaspects.html

Just being generous because my father forgot to take home the doughnuts I bought for him and my mother for their tea. So I ate them both. Greedy cow, lol. I also pinched one of my son's mini-Easter eggs when he wasn't looking, but he copped on to that and made me apologise.

You didnt have to single her out, you could have made a thread about it if it bothered you so much..it was offensive. But ill stop contributing to this post, to stop the furthering of "negativity".

I understand your angle, but not really fair to single her out, know what I mean?
Anyways, I took out my original statements out, to keep the peace.

i think the contex of geocosmic's anger and frustration warranted her expressing her feelings, and i think her apology was graceful and well articulated.. i do think the singling out may be a bit unfair, but at the same time, the emotion and frustration that she explained is a valid concern and would not have had the same impact if she just started a thread. i feel a similar frustration about it because i think i might like to be professional someday, so i do understand her perspective.

Well, sorry to have caused such an upsurge of resentment/anger. Had I known, I would have simply e-mailed Artemiss with my recommendation rather than post it on this Astrology forum. I stand by my occasional use of psychic/mediums and I think if you have a good one who is legit, you can achieve tremendous relief of certain concerns and beneficial re-directing. Which if Artemiss chooses to do -- in addition to her Astrology inquiries -- I believe could help her, and that is what I am about - helping. Which is why I'm so casual about recommending them, no matter who I encounter and on what forum. I don't think psychic/mediums will put astrologers out of business, as I think the information astrologers glean from people's charts can be easily differentiated from the messages received from spirit guides/loved ones who have passed on. I do not see the two as mutually exclusive, which is why I gave absolutely no thought to asking for a few "generous souls" to have a gander at my chart. And I meant generosity of spirit, not economic volunteerism. Since being on this forum, I have been impressed with the generosity of the posters who give analysis of charts for others.

That having been said, I don't need anyone to erase anything in order to clear energy. Words do not scare me and knowing they exist for all to see forever does not bother me. Geocosmic, do what you think is right, I would still like to pay you for an analysis (I guess I have to go through your website for that) since I'm interested enough to pay.

I love this thread - Aries vs. Scorpio

Scorpio being Aries's 8th house almost kills the approach or Open Book Aries questions Geo has.

It's nobody's fault! That's how we have been designed by Almighty.

I think GeoCosmic brought some valid points.

Astrologers who post here on this forum tend to be very generous with their advice and their time. And it's not always appreciated.

We get many newbies that do the hit-and-run things: They make a few posts, then ask for advice, get it, and oftentimes don't even bother to thank people.

I think Jugular handled the stated concern very well.

@ Jugular, I will be checking your chart later and come back with advice.

“We get many newbies that do the hit-and-run things: They make a few posts, then ask for advice, get it, and oftentimes don't even bother to thank people.”

True, but no professional astrologer nor the hobby experts on here are forced to share any advice for free unless they choose to do so.

If a person very urgently is in need of advice from an astrologer I think they would be prepared to pay for it – at least I would be, considering that I know that astrologer put a lot of time into the studies to become good astrologers – they are worth it! (I´m gonna charge sooo much when I get good at this... in the old-people´s home ... he, he he...)

I must add though; I think there is a huge difference in what you are in need of when you ask for advice from an astrologer or if you ask advice from a psychic/medium. If you are ready to pay for a psychic reading it´s because you want psychic advice and if you need an astrologer to have a look at your chart I would say it´s a different type of help you are expecting. So I don´t really see where the competition is.

I wouldn´t say people don´t chose the astrologer because they think the psychic is better – it´s just a question of what way you would like to find out about whatever it is you need to know at that moment. That is my approach anyway – if I need an astrologer I would not go to a psychic and vice versa.

Finally; I think both Jugular and Geocosmic Val handled this really well! And having read Geocosmic Val´s posts on this forum, I might have a reading one day soon myself .

By the way; I take the opportunity to thank everybody on here who have helped me … in case I ever forgot to say Thank you! (I got a bit worried there… did I ever forget to thank anyone?...;-)

as in "going for the jugular?"

I love this forum and especially the freedom of speech aspect to it. Everyone has valid points and is able to converse adultly with little or no judgement.

Thank you for making this such a wonderful forum where astrologers like Geo are kind enough to help us fall in love with astrology.

Peace to all X

OK I'm game to have a go at interpretation. I'm learning so keep some disern about you when reading.
With regard to your career Sagittarius rules your MC and Pluto has just left this sign so it's possible you have been thinking about or actually have changed your career completely. Your progressed Venus has just hit your natal MC too so this suggests looking at the relationships of something... Venus rules the 8th house so sexuality could be a factor somewhere. Your relationship failures has inspired your career change and possibly even a partner has helped you develop an interest in the occult. Communication in a career is going through transformation so it's possible that you will develop a new technique or language or new way of communicating. You have began a new chapter in your life of communicating in a much more effective way and this will be useful in furthering your career. You will find that you are able to choose your words better to achieve the results you want and this will be great in a job interview. Pluto doing a nice trine transit to your progressed Saturn in the first house says you have the sustaining power to see you through and certain people in high places presenting opportunities.

With regards to your relationships you love to be in them but possibly a roving eye that you think goes un-noticed will be by your partner and that brings with it misunderstanding. What you say and how you feel is often at odds with your behaviour. You give the wrong impression coming on too strong at times.
Sexually you have on off times. The off times come mysteriously to you. You do not understand why you are having problems here. It is usually related to your subconscious. Something bothering you that you supress that plays on in your mind.
You can be shall we say at times skinflint with money and you are not always so generous towards partners when you are saving for a rainy day. You need to strike a balance of give and take with money in a relationship. In a way and to a certain point you are destined to exerience a failed relationship or two for your destiny is to be yourself. To express who you are as an individual and sometimes this is not possible in a relationship. Mother loves you but can be overly critical at times about your daily living and this can contribute subconsciously to a relationship.
Let me know what you think about this interpretation, anything that doesn't sound right and if it's way off as I am only learning!

Thanks, Quinnie. That was interesting.

I'm wondering about the communication thing involving a new career, but I could see it being applicable.

Who has the roving eye, me or my partner? I think you meant me, but not sure. Because my husband is always pointing out beautiful women, but I think he does it to emphasize that I "used to be" and am now 30 lbs heavier, so he's reminding me about my weight.

I am not cheap with money at all, in a relationship or out. I'm actually quite the opposite. So I don't know about that part...

You are dead accurate with the mother situation.

That was very nice of you to do. Again, thanks!

No worries. I love the practise. The money situation is about striking a balance so yes you could be the opposite with a need to learn to curb over expenditure.
The roving eye sounds like it's coming from your partner. You should tell him that by looking at other women it upsets you (if it does. Don't want to be creating a problem for you). Another thing since you mentioned about being 30 pounds heavier. For some reason I thought you were male and being slightly biassed with this perspective didn't explain that the Jupiter/ Saturn opposition in your chart (which I attributed to money) could also be about food and your diet. Need for balance there to curb the yo yo eating... Does that make sense? Any transits to your Jupiter/ Saturn could trigger off this.

Are you thinking about a new career at this time, switched jobs or had a hard time getting promotions etc. at work?
The communication aspect could be merely about needing to speak up about getting a raise or asserting your opinion about the work you do to management. Does this tie in?

First off, you have a loaded 8th house, the house of sex, death, and other people's money. Which explain some of the earlier controversy about paying for services.

These issues tend to dominate your life. You have Jupiter conjunct Venus there, so you have a natural propensity to acquire money and to enjoy sex. Good for you.

I noticed a square of your mercury to your mars, and it's interesting that your screen name is Jugular, as it is quite fitting. The jugular vein is in the throat where speech arises (mercury). Sometimes, you experience opposition to your way of speaking, and though it seems to come from the outside, pay attention to what you do to contribute to it.

You have pluto in your 7th house, so marriage is a very intense issue for you. Lots of power struggles over it. Your saturn and Uranus squaring your Chiron makes it difficult for you to settle with who you would consider your soulmate.

There is more to say, but I'll come back later.

ETA: I noticed that your natal location was Tel Aviv. Since you relocated, your planets must have shifted into different houses, so the focus might be different.

Belage, thanks. Some of that really rings true, although I don't want to say too much on this forum in response because I'm going to PAY Geocosmic for a full analysis -- and I don't want her to see my comments (about yours) before she does her analysis.

I will say, though, that I definitely inherited $$ from my father's estate, which would explain at least part of the "other people's money" thing. However, and I say this emphatically, I am the last person on earth that anyone would consider being a cheapskate in terms of paying for anybody's services, so this whole thing that developed on this forum is completely understood out of context. About the marriage/soulmate thing, you've probably hit on something huge. More later.

Hi Jugular and everyone,

Jugular, it's not necessary for you to pay me or anyone here. You should be able to participate in the learning process on this forum just like everyone else by volunteering your chart. I now regret some of my statements that painted you or anyone else here as "cheapskates" for asking for free readings. And I also have to say that when I have given readings here in the past, each person has thanked me, each person has been grateful so I've never had an experience with someone being ungrateful here.

I think that you would be passing up a wonderful opportunity to have a reading with Belage here, she's a great astrologer. I know of her from a different astrological forum, I believe we have studied with the same person which means that she is a power house of an astrologer, so feel free to respond to her and allow her to continue with you, her responses to you will add much to the learning here.

I am now going to delete all of my other posts on this thread because it seems people have unfortunately started doing very unnecessary target practice and that most certainly wasn't my intention either.

One last bit of learning from me about the anger. The day I got angry (of my own free will), transiting Mars first squared my Mercury-Saturn conjunction (that can suggest huge arguments in terms of details) and then Mars conjuncted my Moon (that's big time anger.) My Moon rules my 2nd house of finances and self-worth and it also rules my 3rd house of communication.

How's that for a doozy?!

Our friend Jugular truly got caught in my crossfire about finances and my self-worth as an astrologer what we are worth compared to other services.

I'll end by saying that you did a great thing by trying to offer our friend Artemisss, who was in terrible pain at the time she posted her request and your offering of pain relief and comfort, no matter what form it comes in, should be commended and no one should be put down for offering someone healing and compassion. So I hope you accept this different apology from me. And don't pass up Belage's reading, without giving away too much information about her, I just want you to know you're getting valuable stellar information from her.
