Gemini as a Cop. Please give me a speeding ticket, it would be Entertaining :-)

Cop or Sheriff would be great for you. You will be exploring, learning and traveling all the time. Attract lotsa women and show them Power of Words as well as Power of Gun.

Sounds great!

Yeah, they're is still time to repent and turn your life around and do something good for the world-not make it worse. There are respectable, noble ways to make a living that don't involve ruining lives, beating people up, wrecking families, being a professional hypocrite. You'll only arrest the stupid and the poor while the truly evil and those responsible for all the misery in the world have your protection. Surely you can set your sights higher. You seem somewhat intelligent.

WOW!!! Really stillatlarge?

And when someone steals your car, God forbid hurts you or one of your loved ones, who are you going to call?

Who are you going to ask to come and help you and arrest the bad guys? Oh sorry, they aren't "bad", they're just poor and stupid, right? I wonder how much compassion you will have for the poor and stupid if they perpetrated something against you.

Got Gemini, good luck in your endeavors. Law Enforcement is one of the few professions that are indispensable to society, and you can help and protect a lot of people. I have a lot of respect for police. Again, good luck, buddy!

true true true..

there are good cops.. and they do have a purpose..

some times you have to look at the bigger picture though.

gg.. since it's a spritiual forum, just a question: would you really be satisfied miring yourself in that kind of base-reality, full of desperation, fear, violence, all day every day? it's your call, and you could be a great cop; i've known some good ones.. really nice guys. but still..

While those are some of the negatives that one may face in that profession, there are also many positives that come along with the job too like helping people and possibly saving someone from harms way, just to name a few.

Where I am trying, really violent crimes aren't too bad. Even if they were i'd still be interested.

I really appreciate the kind words Venus De Milo, thanks for the encouragement. From what I hear, it will be a very long application and training process that may take over a year just to get to the point of getting into a Police or Sheriff's Academy. I'm up for it though, I can wait it out.

Does anyone remember Ken the NY Cop from Survivor many years ago? Can't remember what series he was from, maybe 4th or 5th. He was a Gemini. And he was hot too!

What are you doing man!!!

You've betrayed all of us gems, why couldn't you be in a more geminish field.

Say business, science, enginering or tech.

Nah, I'm just kiding Gems can do any jobs best of luck on becoming a Cop,

Just don't become a trafic cop I despise them, they just generate revenue for the county or city.

It whould be pretty cool if you were a detective thought.

Its funny how we both have Mercury In Gemini,

but because this plantary postion lands in diffrent places in are charts, it has a complete diffrent effect for the two of us.

I just think the best job for a gem is were they keep themselves stimulated and learning.

I know one thats a pharmacist and it combines his need to learn while dealing with people.

He's a may 22nd Born.

I whould rather become a Software Engineer.
creating simulation software. Keeps me stimulated becauses thereS relistic art and programing involved.

I like graphical progaming, say OpenGL for example and am good at making 3D Models on 3DS Max.

but you need to understand programing code to make it go the next level.

I was asked once by someone who works in engineering, if I was taking something in enginering.

Just because she got the impresion that I was in my own little world, you know engineers are strange people with minds of there own.

Actually, I think it's great!
A very well adjusted, person who tries to
get to know people on a deeper level in law enforcement!

I live in L.A. and in our city and in this society general--one think we have to admit--We need the police! The problem is, there never there when the jack *** runs the red light and almost hits you! But there always there, when you call!

Yea F the police.. lol. Sorry. They are mostly annoying and are usually no better then the people they are locking up, they just managed to somehow to stay under the radar and get themselves a badge. They are just pawns anyway. No disrespect to the few good people that are rarely cops but to the rest of them are just Aholes or slimeballs in suits with a gun and cuffs. it was best said in "The Departed" 'We're cops okay, this isn't somewhere.'

Natural111,

Cops whould be better deployed getting guns off the streets then doing silly trafic enforcement.

I was angry when my neighbor got a ticket for driving over the crosswalk, the ticket was a $110 bucks, cmon on.

While at the same time gangs are arming up in another part of the city.

Gangs are a bigger problem then someone runing a redlight, if ignored it can be more dangerous then a guy racing throught a red light.

There are good cops and Bad cops, its like everything else in this world.

it's true.. you could bring some integrity to the field.. in your own way..

but what if, say, you had a friend that you knew smoked marijuana, as a meditative agent (not medicinally). what would you do in that situation? would your loyalty be to the law/your job, or to your friend? this is just one TINY example of the myriad of moral choices you will have to face on a regular basis. could you handle that?

If I had my preference (which I think you do when you get hired), I'd choose patrol. I really would do what they asked me to do even though I don't want to do traffic. I need to be mobile and learning.

To all those in here tha say "f" the cops, just remeber that the next time you call one for help. There are good cops and bad ones, just like there are in every field. I have only encountered ONE jerk officer in my whole life (and i'm black where most of the cops around here are white) and in hindsight, I know why he was acting that way.

When I was younger, a lot of my friends from elementary and high school had negative outlooks toward police. I stayed out of trouble and distanced myself from them eventually. Now, (not saying this happens to all thy feel this way, I'm only speaking on my situation) most of them are criminals and behind bars.

I have a few traffic tickets in my youth, but I stayed away from drugs and crime, and my like minded friends did the same, that's why they are still my friends today.

I've been involved in one way or another in law enforcement for twenty two years. I even married a police officer. I also have Virgo Asc and Virgo Mars.
I hope you're successful and that you enjoy it.

friend of mine joined the police a few years ago he told me: I've got to do it, or I will always regret it.

He gave it a whirl, but he has left now and gone back to his original job. The amount of time he spent involved in sorting out domestic disputes was one of his problems with police work. Maybe the money, he likes that and it doesn't go with public service. What else, oh, it didn't help the kind of locker room humour he got to endure, he repeated some of it to me, I didn't think much either.
